J F yeah you do! You’ll have time off usually an hour in the day, some evenings and some time at the weekend, so whichever off time you have that works best with the time difference, we’d usually Facetime people then 😊 the only time we couldn’t is obviously when you’re working with the kids!

Abby Donnelly yeah you just can’t use your phone for like messaging and Social media and stuff when you’re with the kids, because they want you to be present with them. Tbf I didn’t think about that you can use your iPod for that too 😂 but at my camp you hand your phone in the morning to the office now and then pick it up on breaks or at the end of the day. And then they have a bunch of iPods to use for music and speakers. They had problems with counsellors sat on their phones instead of chatting/playing with the kids one year 😬

Abby Donnelly haha yeah she’s from Australia! We did meet at camp and then later went and lived in New Zealand for a year together! Camp friends are amazing! X

@@alpcengiz7442 I always just booked a one way ticket as I was going to live in different countries and not going back to the UK. But if you're doing it through Camp America, you can book a Flexi Flight, so you can get that one and change the date you fly out, and then you just have to get there from wherever you travel :)
