Im doing a five lug swap on my e30 and had a couple questions. Did you need to replace the e36 hubs with z3 hubs to have the brakes fit properly? Was the sway bar rend link replacement needed or was that a maintenance thing? Lastly, for the coilovers, would any e36 coilovers work with e30 camber plates? I mainly worry about the coilovers fitting in the rear.

All these VIN stickers all over the car are US market only. The European cars didn’t have them.

The Lachssilber 325 is really good condition. A lot of interior work, but all manageable. Btw the worn out stickers on the a/c button etc can be replaced. 325i Sunroof, a/c (very rare in Germany) M-Technik 1 steering wheel (500$ in Germany) and the sport seats. Really cool car. Btw the rusty chrome around the front window can be replaced for small money! Thanks for the learning track learnt a lot about my beloved car model.

Don't know what happened to you guys but if you decide to start up again may I suggest something different for your M3 resto? Instead of doing the S52 swap try building a 3.0 liter stroker out of an m50/52 using the crank rods and pistons from an m54? It's cheaper (get an m50 out of a e34 and you don't have to change oil pans) more interesting and has a lot of cam options you can play with. If you ever see this just a thought.

Lachsilber is Salmon Silver. Not Silver Lake. Battery would be in the rear in a 325, unless it’s a very, so of course there’s no rust in the one up front. Early 318 had them in front.

E36 M3 / non m3 coilovers E36 M / non M hub disc and brakes Srs concept solid control arm bushing Rear Z4 Hub pressed in with stock E30 bearinga and srs brake adaptors I would personally go with Clipz hub 4x100 to 5x120 E36 front set up will increase you offset by 15mm each side or maybe more "see over fenders on the pic he had as ref" so you will need stiff coilovers to avoid fenders crashing on the wheels while drive over ramps or pot holes... All i want now is a thanks.
