Eddie had to get the tranny's toes out of his mouth to have the conversation.

The audacity of Eddie Murphy to get upset because someone made a joke about him when he has made a career of doing just that. I'll say this it was very suspicious how the transexual who he was caught with in 1997 was conveniently found dead on the sidewalk by her building in 1998. Almost a year exact from the day they were caught together. Rest in Peace Shalimar Seiuli.

Here is the thing Eddie Murphy was rude/crude and he went after other comedians.. Did he not think that something may eventually boomerang back on him?? I mean seriously, talk about a total crybaby... David did crack him without a doubt but NOTHING that eddie murphy shouldn't of been able to handle... He was the will smith of the oscars on that one...

Eddie needed to lighten up.
@bobbyrossfella32483 ай бұрын
Eddie should have lightened up a bit being a comedian, but he was probably at the lowest point of his career. Im sure he wasnt in the best mood or a walking laugh factory at that stage in his life. He did have a point as well. That era of SNL would have crashed and burned if not for Eddie. His contributions probably allowed the show to stay afloat.

At the time, Eddie Murphy was one of the most successful cast members to ever come off that show and David Spade was a nobody who did very little on the show except for spots on weekend update. This came out soon after a movie he did wasn't doing well. It wasn't a cool thing to do.
@ralphiecifaretto896111 ай бұрын
Eddie Murphey was never cruel with his impersonations. What David Spade said could directly impact Eddie's career. Ask any comic or actor that started becoming the butt of jokes

Fake sound track cause live version on SNL was terrible. Too much party in big apple.
@rmisionero11 ай бұрын
I consider comedians to be like boxers. When you get older, you work harder for your jokes. When you are rich and famous, you no longer work as hard for your audience, people just come to see you. This is why Adam Sandler and Eddie Murphy are no longer funny. I have laughed at their movies in decades. And you know what? It doesn't matter because they continue to make mediocre movies because Hollywood is less than mediocre.

Eddie Murphy DID keep SNL alive. Without Eddie, SNL would have died.

And what does that change?
@Mr.Marketing Жыл бұрын
The worst thing Eddie Murphy did was "save" SNL. It's easily the worst sketch show format and easily the worst sketch show ever made. The only good thing to come out of it was Norm. Hopefully the show dies when Lorne Michaels does and he can go down as the worst sketch comedy producer in history. Then NBC can try and write actual news instead of 5 articles about how SNL destroyed (insert politician here) on their awful network that might as well be using awful Cop shows to launder drug money at this point.

this was howard when he was still the quintessential angry white male--pulling the race card because it was "edgy", even when it made no sense. it was cringe but entertaining to watch. of course later on he'd completely switch and start berating sal for having the same white male incel mentality. stern's biggest talent was always his utter hypocrisy.
@josealonso2885 Жыл бұрын
That’s not the actual vocals to show. The stones had partied all night in nyc and they’re voices sounded terrible.
@84sp84 Жыл бұрын
And while this did hurt Eddie’s feelings, the Eddie Murphy “Good Samaritan” skit taking shots at his apparent fondness for transexuals was the main culprit that still isn’t to be talked about to this day.
