Good stuff mate. I love your idea with the x4. I just got one for Christmas so I can use it on Frankenstein. Might pick your brain about what you rigged up there sometime

@NETFREIGHTSERVICESQUEENSLAND2 ай бұрын
The term landslide is used interchangeably with landslip. The difference between the two terms however is one of immediacy. Land slippage is used to describe continuous, slow, movement over a long period of time, whereas landslide is used to describe an instant event.
@NETFREIGHTSERVICESQUEENSLAND2 ай бұрын
Earthquake shaking and other factors can also induce landslides underwater. These landslides are called submarine landslides. Submarine landslides sometimes cause tsunamis that damage coastal areas.

The bypass is great for us on Cooloola coast. Saves about 15 mins going to/from the south. Now we only go into Gympie when we need to and it’s much nicer place without all the trucks roaring through it. Great shot of quarry at scotchy pocket. I designed that railway level crossing for the new road that goes to that quarry. 😀

Certainly a lot greener than Bundaberg at the moment.

Testing with a GPS on the way to and from our farm it saves 13 mins directly plus then the time at waiting for all those bloosy traffice lights in Gympie. It saves us a average of 15 to 20 mins on our 300km trip. Basically we have 150km now at 110kph dual carriageway...its so good :). We have used it both ways twice now

Fun and interesting video. Stabilized video never really shows just how turbulent it is but that looked a bit bumpy. The area you fly is very diverse. For those of us in other countries (usa). I would enjoy seeing a far out view of exactly where in your country you are. Glad to see your flying and thanks for bringing us along on your video. Larson Adventures saying hello.

How do you find smoother air when after you get tossed around ? Looks like at 12:25 you was getting into the proximity of some bad weather . I was told storms can reach out 50 miles away and produce bad turbulence .
@CrayonboxAviationAdventures2 ай бұрын
Smooth air is hard to find here these days, and being an all day flyer myself, conditions change dramatically. Smooth air is awesome, peaceful, safer and relaxing, but sometimes you have to just deal with the hard stuff - but with caution. Half an hour early morning in smooth air isn’t my style. I often like to go somewhere and catch up with friends for a while.
@Trike.2 ай бұрын
@@CrayonboxAviationAdventures So what your saying is that you fly when conditions are not favorable because if you had to wait around for perfect days to fly you wouldnt get to fly at all?
@CrayonboxAviationAdventures2 ай бұрын
@@Trike. Yes, especially if I want to fly for 2-3 hours, or go somewhere and return 4 hours later - especially now as summer approaches. Tomorrow we have heat wave conditions of 38c at the proposed destination (1hr away), I'm not going. Even now, getting to the hanger at 630am to preflight and fuel is causing much dripping of sweat - humid and warm conditions. And we are having broken low cloud bases at 1500ft agl. Not ideal.

Great video! Being a Gympie local I recognised heaps of places that you flew over. Sure looks different looking down. Gympie is a great place to live. I've driven past the construction of one of the interchanges everyday for the past 4 years on my way to work. Watching the bridges being built was quite interesting. Its a massive project and I think they've done well to complete section D in a little over 4 years. I look forward to driving on it in the very near future.

I had the exact same issue on my rainbow Cheetah. It all has to do with the voltage drop when strobes and Beacons fires off even more so when you transmit. Lights I added this week. I added a Capacitor bank to the strobe and beacon line and it majorly reduced the noise. When the AC runs the system voltage goes from 12.5V to 13.4V and the noise is entirely gone. Yea... now I also aded a diode from the switches because if your switches have integrated lights they will glow for quite some time after you switched them off it also helps that 100% of the Cap power goes to the flashing devices and not back to other AC systems hope this helps. The caps I used were 4700 uF 25 V. I connected 3 in parallel for each device to a total of 14100 uF and I found adding more up to six makes no change. Cheers from RSA Regards Lance 🎉

Really happy to have come across your channel. I moved here from the UK and prior to moving was very keen to get into microlighting. Once here, I saw no one/heard of no one who does it hear and also read an article that said "it's just about a dead hobby in Australia'', which was very disheartening. I'm glad that this is not the case and that I can still get into it

If only we designed highways with a large multi lane gap between the lanes. This way ALL the overpasses, the off-ramps and the guard rails would never need to be touched in the future. And then if you wanted to add a lane at a later stage you could do so without ever effecting traffic flow. We have spent billions on the gateway motorway northbound and for us to add a SINGLE lane, we need to destroy all guardrails, all off-ramps, all over passes to make it wider…. and block traffic for years to do so. Why are we so incredibly f’n dumb.
