I enjoyed your video! Thanks! I just bought a new detector to find a lost ring. Do I need any other equipment besides the detector?

My Tracker IV arrived two days ago. I bought it to replace my Bounty Hunter Rustler I bought new in 1983. I'm looking forward to start searching with it once I understand how it works for different metals. Thanks for the video.

What could a person do with a sudden influx of 2.5 million dollars? The IRS will have major questions. Really what that gold could do, is be used for nickel and dime stuff. Groceries, gas, the odd treat or two. But even that could cause the government to take notice with the Orwellian surveillance state we have now. 😒 I dunno, beyond it being morally correct to turn it in, it’s probably the smarter thing to do in the long run.

Just found your videos tonight looking for tips and Tricks with the Tracker IV. We’re going up to the family camp again tomorrow and I’m hoping for better luck. The property has been in the family since the 1800’s. Hoping for better luck this year. Thanks for posting!

They are currently $219 on Amazon . I have a AT Gold and a Whites MX5 and both are 15 Khz . This being 19 Khz is tempting over the Land pro. .

Can I detect my sprinkler system
@AmericanDetection26 күн бұрын
Ir depends on how much metal is there. If it's a pipe that is not more than 6-8 inches, then yes. But if it's a tiny wiring harness inside a sprinkler head, then probably not.

Good point! I didn’t even think of the consequences. I probably would’ve celebrated too early as well but probably got the bug and started the next day.

I had purchased a detector called a TX-850 which is a clone model of the Time Ranger Pro & the Teknetiks G2. My knock-off machine has a 5" coil and is great at finding small targets. Im sure the Time Ranger Pro is a great machine. I may invest and get the real deal.

I’d got with the bounty hunter time ranger pro as it is a 19kHz unit which is more sensitive to these kinds of targets.

Just purchased an F19, it is missing the knurled knob and bolt that hold the detector coil. Can I use a regular metal bolt, or does it have to be plastic? Waiting for Fisher to get back to me.

Can someone explain how the detector that always detects is better than the one that goes to fast. That's all nice it doesn't see bottle caps. But with the technique. Does it still find gold or anything?
@AmericanDetection2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but I'll give it a try. If I miss the mark, please let me know. Yes, the Tracker IV can still detect gold, silver, and other metals while discriminating against bottle caps. The secret lies in the coil. Many other units use DD coils, which have their advantages but tend to identify bottle caps as good coin targets because they love iron. In contrast, the Tracker IV uses a concentric coil, which excels at discriminating against iron targets. This makes the Tracker IV ideal for park hunting, where bottle caps are abundant.

My father helped dispose all kinds of American equipment offer WW II. Corsair’s, Hellcats, Wildcats some in factory crates. Avengers some new, some stripped airframes. Engines, guns, ammunition, radios. All of it tossed over the side of the carrier into the sea.

Hi Russ, from me in UK. The 12DD has only just reached across The Pond. Unearthed UK (Graeme Rushton) had a small batch that've sold out real quick. I grabbed one. I use it on my 75 ltd, it is an exeptional coil, imo. Graeme is testing the 8"DD, but only has the one test platform at this time. Hopefully some more 8" DD's will reach him one day, month, year.... I bought my 75 in 2018, it is a very fine machine indeed. I own one other machine. I've subscribed. Thank you.

Hello, and thanks for the comment. The 8COILDD will be released here VERY soon. It is actually my preferred everyday coil on the F75 and T2. Good luck out there, and thanks for the sub!

Do you know what I should try and do if my bounty hunter tracker 4 is not making sounds unless I use headphones. I just bought new Duracell batteries and I'm not sure if it's them I bought them 3 days ago.
@AmericanDetection2 ай бұрын
It sounds like a speaker issue. If it is still under warranty (you're the original purchaser and you purchased within the last 5 years) contact Bounty Hunter directly and they will repair, it for free. However, Bounty Hunter will still service the unit if you are not covered by the warranty. You could also open the control box up and take a look at the speaker, but I would only do this if you felt comfortable and ONLY if you don't have a current warranty. Good luck!
