yesssir haha, and if you are willing to go down the rabbit hole... - bucket seats + "cage" (have to get cage to mount harness to, factory seats are heavy af) - mufflers/ whole exhaust weigh a lot - carbon hood -carbon trunk if you can find one for E93 lol -lightweight wheels -gut interior and trunk

im also driving an manual e92 320i, but for some reason i cant get a good feeling for the gas because its not a pedal like the break or clutch so its kinda hard for me to drive off and ion what i could change
@MichaelCowАй бұрын
DUDE! I understand exactly what you mean. I recently got a corvette, which is manual (of course) and the pedals are all normal (leverage point on top of pedal)- so when I go back and forth I find myself pushing on the top of the pedal in the Vette because I’m so used to the 335. it feels like I have no power, until I switch my foot to the bottom 😂😂

@@MichaelCow ong other cars ive drove were much easier to drive, and also i dont want to rev to 3000rpm everytime i drive off with the bmw, especially the e92 has a weird clutch feedback in my opinion. at this point i would rather have a automatic

I bought a 31,900 mile 2007 Z06 and its done nothing but be broken. I've had 3 months of usage since December 2022. Valve drop killed the LS7, had texas speed built me a stroker 427 LS3 with LS7 heads to replace it. Made 621whp on 93, 4 days later, transmission is gone (had an ongoing issue with reverse synchro, in an emergency forcing it out of reverse I bent the 5/6 shift fork I think). Its waiting on rack space currently to put in a Level V T56 from RPM right now. II am an entire base corvette in money into my Z06 repairs. FML.

3:40 is where I show how I went at it with a flathead. This method ended up bending the boost pipe if you are not careful (which is what happened to me) . I had to eventually replace that boost pipe because it created a massive boost leak. So I would be very gentle if you go that route. If you can, use a dremel to cut the metal band that holds the coupler to the boost pipe. I hope that helps.

@MichaelCow11 ай бұрын
I don’t think the stock ones will work, but yea when you remove the stock intercooler do not damage the boost pipe like I did when I removed the one-time use clamp that held the boost pipe to the intercooler. I had to replace the boost pipe because of this. That was a monster. If you have a dremel you can cut the one-time clamp off, it’s like a thin metal band
