Don't rest your arm on the shift knob it wears out the synchros and the shift forks

Nice video, just a few notes, slow your shifting movement down between gear changes, no need to slam it into each gear. Itll make for a far smoother gear to gear change. Second try and learn rev matching when down shifting. It will save the clutch and also make it smooth and not jerky when slowing down. Otherwise cool car, dont see too many E93 manuals

Yessir thank you ! I need to make an updated video with what I’ve learned. There has been a lot of helpful comments And yea I love this car, rowing gears with the top down is unmatched

Get the revs up higher on those downshifts and let the clutch out a bit quicker and youll be floatin

great driving, I would just suggest learning how to rev match downshift. its better for the drivetrain and for overall driving experience. the car won't jerk jerk back when you downshift.

im also driving an manual e92 320i, but for some reason i cant get a good feeling for the gas because its not a pedal like the break or clutch so its kinda hard for me to drive off and ion what i could change

DUDE! I understand exactly what you mean. I recently got a corvette, which is manual (of course) and the pedals are all normal (leverage point on top of pedal)- so when I go back and forth I find myself pushing on the top of the pedal in the Vette because I’m so used to the 335. it feels like I have no power, until I switch my foot to the bottom 😂😂

@@MichaelCow ong other cars ive drove were much easier to drive, and also i dont want to rev to 3000rpm everytime i drive off with the bmw, especially the e92 has a weird clutch feedback in my opinion. at this point i would rather have a automatic

it's always funny seeing people comment about shifting in every manual transmission video on youtube, no matter how good you shift, there's always some random criticizing you and giving false advice lol. doubt these people even have driving licenses
