you know, as someone who used to laugh at Gothic for being a terrible Eurojank RPG that was inferior to American offerings like Baldur's Gate, after seeing how utterly awful Baldur's Gate 3 was (I really cannot state how much I hate this game) and how damaging it was to the reputation of the first 2 games and the franchise as a whole, I am actually excited for the Gothic remake now, because I know THQ Nordic actually respects the source material and will not make sweeping changes to things.
