I'm not even into hunting or hunting games. But I bought this game because it's DRM-FREE on GoG. This means I own it and don't have to deal with no online garbage being shoved down my throat. A game of this scale is beautiful and should be curated. Thank you for making it DRM-FREE. Now it shall live on forever. 🥂

I’ve had this game for awhile now you have to manage your herds and you have to literally become a sniper sometimes with how easy it is for animals to spot you. Filling your houses with the animals you kill is kind of rewarding. You got melanistic and albino animals as well.

COTW is a kids game anybody can just run and gun blast stuff non stop, no challenge at all..cotw looks cartoonish and antlers still are wrong, I hate the great one crap as well..at least this game will make you work for bow kill, better antlers and herd management,real guns..

I love that game. But I find their promotional material to be unclear, and super last minute. And they really need to send surveys to the community members of that game and go over what is mostly requested by the players. Cause I don't think everyone was wanting an outfit pack, a Kawasaki pack or a Transylvania 2.0. However, the animal fur texture is incredible!! And the maps are truly breathtaking.

I still want to see (in fact, we all need there to be) the addition of Zebras, Crocodiles, Giraffes, Hippos, Rhinos, and Elephants to Tikamoon Plains. I can't believe the developers didn't add any of them to that map when it came out, as it feels extremely empty and incomplete.

Can we get some handguns in the game? I'd love to use a Smith & Wesson model 29 or 57. I'd also like to see some more predator interactions. Getting attacked by wolves or a bear would be crazy! More scopes is always great too!

There are still only 12 species on Tikamoon Plains? WE NEED ELEPHANTS, RHINOS, HIPPOS, GIRAFFES, CROCODILES AND ZEBRAS ON THAT MAP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!! They fact that you, the developers, did not add any of those animals to that map like you should've done (it felt like a gargantuan middle finger, especially since we see a mounted Elephant head and Rhino horn in the Nez Perce Valley story missions) is an insult to the whole community who plays this game. The addition of all the aforementioned animals to Tikamoon Plains will make Way of the Hunter the greatest hunting game of all time.

No, we dont need rhinos or elephants. It sends a bad signal bc those are endangered. Giraffes aren't hunted very often either. Now, Crocs, i can get behind, but it's too early fot crocs, theyre too complex to animate this early in the game. Zebras, yes, i would love to see them.

@@Lance_Head This is just a video game. Yes, Elephants and Rhinos are endangered in the wild, but their populations are decently sized, and they can be legally hunted in some situations. In video games, you do not need to worry about making animals endangered or extinct.

​@@AnimalsVehiclesAndMoreI'm afraid Lance is right. I don't think it's right to promote the hunting of animals that are regularly poached to near extinction. They are only legally hunted to help strengthen existing herds and it's very very tightly controlled. The money used to hunt those animals is also used to help anti-poaching efforts and support the reserves the animals live on. I'm an avid hunter IRL, so it's not coming from a place of not wanting to hunt... I just don't think it's appropriate to promote the hunting of protected animals.

@@m73m95 The upcoming game Ultimate Hunting is adding Elephants, as well as Giraffes, Hippos, Zebras, and Crocodiles (no Rhinos, though). That game fully acknowledges that Elephants, and some of the other animals on its Africa reserve (Southern Africa Hunting Reserve) are endangered in real-life, but that you can still hunt them in the game, and you can also enjoy their majesty and beauty.
