You can definitely use #0000 steel wool on the fretboard. It cleans it well. Just do it outside and hold the guitar vertically upside down with your left hand and clean with your right hand. You don’t want the steel wool dust falling towards your pickups. Do not use on a maple fretboard that is finished.

Eventide Micropitch pedal does this sound perfectly for a live rig, and also has a great stereo delay as well

Thanks for the video! Have you tried adjusting the intonation after the change in string gauge? I have a PRS SE DGT and the bridge saddle for the high E string is right up against the tremolo screw with stock string gauges (10-46). The adjustment margin will be further reduced with lighter gauge strings, potentially leading to the inability to intonate the string. There have been some reports of this issue on the PRS forum.
@guitarlounge4 күн бұрын
Yes, I did and I’m right at the very end of where the saddle can go. So I might have problems in the future.

own one of these myself.............a real beauty. Mine is the older one without the binding visible at the front ( mine's on on the side) which IMO looks nicer but it caused them some issues with consistency/QC and hence the change made.

I have to stop you at the tuning stability I bought this recently within the last week and it's in and out of tune very often. Even just sitting around in a case for a day once you pull it out and give it a strum everything's off. The sounds coming from it aren't too bad and it's comfortable to play even though it has a sticky neck.

This video doesn't help at all when calling the A string, the G string. Awful.
@guitarlounge19 күн бұрын
I just re-watched. I didn't see once where I did this. I did refer to the "G" note, meaning 3rd fret bottom string. If I _do_ accidentally do this on videos, it's purely by mistake. During editing I often added text on screen to alert the viewer.

I just happened to come across your channel on my feed. I just saw your new lukather cover and this. You’re amazing and your sound is killer also. Are you self taught or took lessons for a while? Any tips on learning lead and where to begin? My favorite lukather song is “swear your love” and love “in a darkened room” by skid row. If you do requests can you do those two songs or if u had to pick one go with “swear your love”. lol. Hope you can do them. Thanks and keep up the excellent work. I subscribed to u now also 😊

I’m not sure where you get them any more seeing as they’re discontinued. This one was actually a friend of mine’s that I borrowed and he’s not looking to sell.
