You didn’t say how to recline the vacuum. That’s like important no?

When I purchased my Diamond Edition last year (came with everything in near immaculate condition), I originally used it in its upright mode with the floor duster pad under the nozzle. I purchased belts originally for the buffer roll but now that I’ve had a 8x10 shag rug for almost a year in October.. the first belt I’ve been using is barely starting to show/feel how it’s losing its shape and tension. I ALWAYS disengage the belt as soon as I’m done with vacuuming that shaggy rug and then I run the machine just long enough to cool itself a bit along with the belt. Thank you for all of your work in helping me choose and maintain a Diamond Edition Kirby.

can i clean it by water only

I've got a G4 that I purchased in 1995 and it's still running strong with only minor repairs I was able to do myself. I upgraded the headlight to a LED and use the newer bags. My sister has had 4 vacuums in that time span including a Dyson which lasted 4 years. 😊

most my kirby's are pre replacement bags, my heritage 2 is still using micron magic bags

I washed the bag, I even put essential oil down into the motor...still fills the room with dog stench ....got it from a relative...I cannot even vaccum makes me sick to my stomach...I even put essential oils on the bag , nothing works. I put baking soda into the bag and sucked some up too...still that dog stench is there and strong! I cannot use strong toxic fragrance Im allergic. Where else to put it? Where is the stench coming from? I got a new bag and washed the cover

Can you still get pads? I ordered one off eBay with 150 black and white pads just wondering if I can get some more had a hard time finding them.

Just got my avalir multi surface system for my g5 (my old g5 shampoo system tray is broken), but Tile/grout brush won’t work on the older systems so just decided on picking up one off eBay and definitely works great other than the nozzle being plastic rather then cast aluminum but still performs great I like that it has a cover on it so it keeps everything in.

Love hardwood floors tool use mine all the time. Great video as always.

A Fantastic video. I agree that most new Kirby owner’s don’t know what they bought. Bottom line, cleaning/vacuuming required a quality vacuum AND Time & Effort. Skimp on those & you get poor results. [Did you get my email a few months ago? Never heard back from you.]. Keep up the GREAT work.

It was a very bad idea for them to remove that brush adjustment label off the Kirby. It's confusing enough as it is and making a mistake on this can cause damage to the machine or at the least excessive breaking of the belts.

None of these. Although I have a Heritage, A G4, and Sentria and they all perform well, I really like the Dual Sanitronic 50 and 80's the best by far. So simple and easy to work on, you can do a full tear down and restore in 30 minutes plus plus polishing time. They are light, very nimble on their feet, have plenty of power and are bulletproof.
