Great looking Demon . Beautiful job done the repairs . Only thing it's missing is the rally dash that would have made the difference in the interior , but still a really beautiful Demon. I have 70 340 Duster and love these little A Body Mopars. They are fast and a good looking car. Will never part with mine. Thanks for sharing your beautiful Demon and remember.... MOPAR OR NO CAR!!

The three knobs under the dash were for controlling the AC again it was installed by the dealer as it had the vents under the dash instead of actually mounted on the dash.

The AC vents were GM products and were offered and installed by a dealer . The factory installed AC had the vents on the dash . The rear mounted antenna on the right rear fender was also dealer installed factory had it on the front right fender.

I knew a dude that had one of those back in 1996 he worked for a plumbing company that we was doing A/C installation for at a new Appointment complex in Abilene Texas. He and his old lady was both dope heads and they had enough kids to full it up . I seen him a few yrs later back in Dallas TX at a truck stop of I-20 looking like a dope head still but tye car and old lady and all those kids was out of the picture.

In the 60s, one of my best friend's dad drove a 1959 Pontiac Safari. It was huge, green interior and exterior and it had plenty of power to move that massive machine with ease. BTW, I like the song too. Both the car and song brings back great memories of growing up in the 60s. I feel lucky to have been alive during the fantastic Golden Age of American Cars. I still love the cars made by The Ford Motor Company, the Chrysler Corporation and General Motors too.

my dad had a 39 Ford PU, and I loved it, it was rough, welded fenders, had to double clutch into gear. Shifter went from left to right making you search for the right groove to shift. All squirrely in the light rear end, but it always started, and could always depend on it.

@Uncle_Jake no I classic Fords and Chevys and Dodges, I am a purest! The reason people started putting chevy engines in Fords and d Dodges was because they were cheaper to build, mainly older small blocks, it also had to do with water pump clearance and exhaust clearance from the steering box in Model T's and so on.
@Uncle_JakeАй бұрын
@@marksmith6634 Cheaper and better
@marksmith6634Ай бұрын
@Uncle_Jake used to be, however with coyote and Ls motors, the coyote has a stronger bottom end and Ls are like roaches they are everywhere! True hot roders are one of a kind, not carbon copies! My 76 vett will only have a 350 chevy block, it may be board out, but it's original and you can do 99% of repairs with a small tool box, my newer hot rods have to have a computer to work on them.
