Bob did an excellent job in rebuilding this wagon…His other car is the pea green 33 Chevrolet Coupe with the 302 GMC 6 which also comes to Donut Derelicts. After he finished the coupe. He removed the perfect 350” SBC from the wagon and went to work on converting to RS power. His attention to detail is surpassed by very few and he does ALL the work in his garage. He has machine work done by others but ALL assembly is his personal work including engines….

Looks like an electrical wheelchair with sheet metal wrapped around it. Same concept just have to use your imagination and build one. They accully want to to ride something other than a car.

The Cart you are referring to is an " Autoette" and was considered to be the first actual electric cart. Actually made for local shopping, from Long Beach California. The Electric Motor which drove the cart was from leftover tank turret drives, from the War surplus. I had an all original one of these and sold it for a large amount of money. Very rare and Cool!

How many hundred times can you walk by that 56 Handyman wagon? Can you say etched glass again?
