In summary, the School of Frankfurt found a way to substitute the old objective struggle between two social groups for the struggle between multiple social segments of society and their alleged opressor. Theoretically, it would help to fight the oppressive financial elite, however in reality it only helped the financial elite to get out of the spotlight, and foment sectarian hatred between all social groups within the non-elite group (non trilionaires). That's the ultimate donkey carrot, since such movement can always avoid accountability for its practical results, and demand unlimited and unconditional credit until their (unachievable) claimed goals are finally achieved.
