me , i find the spine FIRST , then reel seat, top grip , then tip , to find spine hold butt end , push down tip on floor and rotate , it will kick or twist into its natural lay

As a rod builder and a former video creative director, I appreciate your videos and know the work it takes to produce them but they are painfully slow. You need a script to follow and less chatting. Create an outline, assign tasks and time stuff out.

This is great! I’ve built only about 10 rods maybe a few more but I would still take these classes if I could cause everyone has different tricks that a person can always learn from but I live in southern Oregon so although it would be awesome to take these classes it just out of my budget. Not much happens here around Medford Oregon. One of these days I’ll make it out to the East Coast and if I ever get to Florida rod building class or not I’m headed to MudHole.

I have one. Everytime I've tried to use it, the blank it is inserted into, spins. It's not as simple as just inserting the extension tool inside the blank. I've relegated that tool to my junk drawer.

Weight reduction should not be behind your grip, but in front. Thats how you will get a true reduction in swing weight (for those of you who didnt understand why they added counterbalance). The best use for these that i can see, is to repair a broken grip on a rod, or replace one you dont like without having to tear down the rest of the rod. So, thanks for showing this, definitely nice component.
