It may be heretical in the eyes of most RimWorld players, but I prefer to play with Phoebe Chillax. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and raids are so infrequent they are actually a surprise.

Whether Dedede is stronger than Meta Knight is difficult to say. I’d argue they are on equal terms of strength, as in Kirby fighters 2 (not canon), Meta Knight and Dedede team up as “sworn partners.” Both have similar achievements and defeats, with Dedede being recognized as one of popstars strongest lifeforms and Meta Knight defeating Galacta Knight. Dedede tour and Meta Knightmare both show Dedede and Meta Knight capable of fighting without Kirby (minus the gods).

Please react to the remaining Kirby "Designing for" videos, especially the Waddle Dee video. The little guys deserve every bit of love and appreciation for how much they enhance the series in so many subtle but meaningful ways.

Too bad Magnus and Bricky were both completely wrong about the chaos gods. Their parasites that are attached to concepts. No one needed Slanesh to feel emotions, and killing Tzeentch wouldn't stop progress. The universe is better off without them.

if you havent then i highly recommend watching the kirby anime, on or off video as its very enjoyable from start to finish peak power transformations, great enemies, dedede being himself as usual, and cant forget MACHO MAN

The thing about Arcanum is that the setting isn't solely about "technology versus magic" as in a way, its a back grounds setting, does not go that far into the main story which I think is better as if Arcanum came out today, it strictly be magic versus tech with 3 shitty endings of "let tech take over, or let magic take over, or kill both".

The way Designing For explains everything is perfect, it shows just how beautiful a character arc like this really is. Please do watch more of these because they're all just as great :)

Kirby's relationship with his friends, especially Dedede and Meta Knight, is my personal favorite aspect of the series, and Dedede is probably my favorite character as well. There's more than meets the eye in every aspect of this series but I find Dedede to be the most surprising and interesting example, I just love him so much. Also his characterization in Smash Bros Brawl is perfect, he really steals the show in the Subspace Emissary for me. And yeah he kicked Bowsers ass and embarassed the hell out of him. Bowser, on the other end, is my favorite Mario character, and while his characterization in Smash and in Designing Fors video is pretty sorely lacking compared to the Mario series (he has his very own close bond with his Koopa Troupe, including the Koopalings who are like his adopted children and of course Bowser Jr who he spoils rotten), if anything he'd probably defect from Tabuu too (and he does eventually, just very late), but yeah Dedede beating him is very cool and funny, the shot of Bowser roaring at him only to get flicked in the nose is one of my favorite Dedede gifs lol. Yeah, Dedede does come out of his relationship with Kirby with a lot more than going in, but I think it's still equally valuable to Kirby. His motivations have always revolved around his friends, you could even argue that friendship is where his powers come from. When his friends are happy that's a win for him as well, and when they're in trouble that's when you see his strength show. Many people do take Dedede Tour to mean that Dedede is stronger than Meta Knight, and I think it's a somewhat valid conclusion to make, but I mean it's not like Meta Knights power stagnated after Amazing Mirror. Meta Knight aspires to be the strongest warrior in the whole galaxy, and he has an equally storied rivalry with Kirby. So personally I say it's a toss up between Dedede and Meta Knight, they're both stupid strong in their own rights and should never be slept on. One of my favorite feats of Meta Knight is that in Forgotten Land it's said that Gorimondo (big gorilla boss guy) had tried to attack Waddle Dee village 40 times, and Meta Knight repelled him with ease each time. If you wanna hear more about Meta Knight, Silvery's video on him is great, here's to hoping Designing For makes one eventually too. The first Dedede boss fight in Forgotten Land had me in awe, and the second one had me crying honestly, he's so cool in that game and his boss themes are insane and call back to his older themes in the series. Dedede fans were eating. A common phrase people like to say about King Dedede, is that he went from a self-proclaimed king, to a self-made king. I think it was Silvery that popularized that phrase? (also Silvery's Dedede video is excellent as well but if you watch that then watch Meta Knight first cuz he made the Meta Knight one first), but yeah, it's a good one. Edit: I'm dumb it wasn't Silvery it was Indigo F that popularized it, I haven't watched it in awhile but I rememeber his video being very good

I so badly want 1 story of Ciaphas Cain working alongside the Lamenters. the sheer bad luck combined with Ciaphas's unique luck would be hilarious to see. I'm also convinced that Tzeench stole the luck of every lamenter that will ever exist and funneled it into Cain. As a prank.

Its so funny how even Kirby's evil dark reflection isn't all that evil. Just a ting mean. Playin mean pranks, but still more than good enough to help protect his world

I wanna thank you for engaging with these on a really sincere level. It is fantastic to see how much you resonate with what you're watching, seeing your own thoughts develop and putting your own personal experience into it, even being able to feel out where the video is going and nailing that thematic through line! Makes me worried that "oh he's gonna realize how often I restate my points for emphasis, oh no I hope I am not annoying". Thank you very much for reacting and putting so much care into how you consume media; it's stuff like this that makes talking about silly video game characters and going "no actually they have an unreal amount of my brain space devoted to them" worthwhile. And do not worry - I am a crybaby, too. I make things so that you can cry at the things I cried at and we can feel embarrassment but like, in a good way together.

I love these vids of people delving into the mind-blowingly deep depths of the games about a pink circle that eats. Jokes aside, this was great!

Dedede might be grumpy, but he's always willing to throw down to protect Dreamland and his people. Once Kirby showed him kindness and determination.

Finally more lore... Recently I discovered something called " Trench crusade" with very interesting lore and absolutely beautiful artwork it would be great if you can check it out.

There is one channel that is so far decently dedicated to the goal of roasting Warhammer 3's Legendary Lords, they go by Gaming Rambles and so far the Advisor has roasted.. about 45 Legendary Lords as of writing this comment, and the 46th will be Louen of Bretonnia. I'm sure the owner will let ya react to his content.

IIRC, the implication is that The Gorger-Lord is literally Custodisi. In a previous video The Emperor got mad at him and hit him with psychic powers and he disappeared, not to be seen until this video. He got isekai'd into the Warhammer Fantasy world.

Designing For is one of the best channels when it comes to character analysis or perspective of various videogames aspects. I highly suggest to see more videos from them. This one video in particular made me appreciate this character of Dedede even more than I already do. Awesome reaction on this btw. Keep up the great work

42:22 a comment from the original video points out and emphasizes Dedede’s care for his subjects. When he goes back to aid the Waddle Dee that fell behind, instead of quickly and forcefully yanking it to its feet in this situation where they have no time, Dedede instead gently holds out his hands for the Waddle Dee to brace itself on and pick itself up. It shows a tenderness and care that Dedede has genuinely developed. And he only gets rough by throwing the Waddle Dee when he realizes there truly is no time left.

Another really good Designing For video is “Bowser - Still Gaming’s Greatest Villain.” It really gets into why I love Bowser so much as a character and how his personality has changed over the years. I highly recommend watching it 👍

One of my favorite genres of content is “person unaware of Kirby lore reacts to Kirby lore”

Long Kirby fan here, it's really entertaining to see your journey through this incredible universe that is Kirby's, generally overlooked because of the cutesy stuff and the simpleness of both the characters and the games (at first glance, that is) I love how not only you actually did understand most of the important stuff presented at you in past videos, but you also related to it in the same way we Kirby players did when each game came out, and that's frankly just impressive, it shows that you truly care about all of it, and it also shows the wonderful job HAL Laboratory has done with the franchise to a level that a non-player can also relate and appreciate ♥️ If I had to recommend a video (or a series of videos) it would be the "What is Kirby Canon?" series made by MeteorZ, fully explaining in-depth every single detail that has been presented to you in the RPG Monger's videos, most are bite sized so maybe you could cramp some of them in a single reaction video to avoid overflowing your channel with too much Kirby content (not that we complain about it hehe)

King Dedede sacrificing himself just to save one Waddledee was easily his shining moment for his development. It was the moment he understood that as the king, his people matter more to him than his own life

The best thing about *our* King Dedede is the change of his title over time from "The Self-Proclaimed King of Dreamland" to "The Self-Made King of Dreamland". He went from being a guy who called himself the king and no one really cared or acknowledged it to "yes, that's our king and a glorious king he is."

I may have missed the entire point of the video but honestly Dedede insanely strong you have to understand that he's pretty much only second to Kirby would you really have to put it into perspective considering how powerful Kirby really is.
