What type of wood did you use for the water wheel? I can't find anything on what wood is fish safe
@ColeAviation13 күн бұрын
I used western red cedars. But the next one I do will be out of cypress. This one isn’t rotting or anything but the cedar is SLOWLY shirking.
@davidmartino147313 күн бұрын
@ColeAviation thank you! Did the cedar or oak hurt the fish at all or change the water color at all?
@ColeAviation13 күн бұрын
Not at all. I was worried about that as well when I first built everything. My pond looks totally different than this video now. 😂 It looks more natural. Fish are around 4-6 pounds and 16”-20” long. I need to make an update video on my pond. It’s beautiful. Everything is weathered really good.

Looks exactly like my first car in 1977, a gift from my mother. Same color red on red 2 dr '59 Impala only mine had the 283 powerglide automatic. Factory power steering, brakes & power seats. I just loved the car I drove it everyday everywhere. 2 years later I found another '59 2 dr. Impala with the 348 turboglide I paid $1375. I had one more '59 Impala 2 dr. in 1998 with the small block red on red same as my first car. By the 90's they were getting expensive I had to finance it.

Young folks today seem to not know that; since the Wright Brothers first flight was December of 1903, that at the end of World War ONE (November of 1918) the airplane hadn't yet been invented 15 years!!!! Then in May of 1927, when Charles Lindbergh flew the Atlantic SOLO, the airplane was less then 24 years old!

Im much older now, I still feel a bite of regret that I spent thousands and thousands, and thousands, on motorbikes thinking they were cheaper than aviation. EDIT: Obviously not to buy, but to fly.

I used to drive past Curtis Pitts shop down in Homestead. One day and he was there. A couple of older men were there as well. I stopped in and They were working on the prototype Macho Stinker. I was given a brief tour of the shop and shown the plane. Pretty amazing to have been able to meet an aviation legend. Quite a neat plane!

High compression pistons; improved rings; higher supercharger boost; tighter internal tolerances, and HP can also be increased with electronic ignition, fuel injection, ect
