I liked the portion size you had there that looked like my size of portion minus one more Croppie fillet I like five fillets too cold up here to fish today for me may just have to go buy some fish and bake it. I always dry my fillets throughly then I use ranch dressing bout a tbs for a binder then go to my fish fry batter, right now zatarains crispy southern has been the ticket!!

UPDATE: The boat scale setting does not always hold. For a while I had to pull the remote out every time and change it back to the setting. I found a -2 works best for me, pretty much all the time. Lately however when I turn the remote on, it is set at zero or -1. I am not sure at this point what is causing this but would like to find out. The dealer had never heard of this, so I probably need to contact Minn Kota. Let me know if you are having any issues after this, or if it fixed your problem. I will say changing the boat scale made a world of difference when using spot lock, the motor used to have a mind of its own, but now, takes its time adjusting, it just does not always hold the setting.

I grew up fishing that lake as we had a small lake house near the dam many years ago. It was good fishing back then too.....especially for bass.

I know that lake and I don't blame you for not mentioning it. Put a 8mm glass bead about 9 inches from your bait and you will be able to locate your jig without using extra weight. I buy my beads from the Dollar Tree store.

Had both wrist carpal tunnel surgery 5 years ago total success. Never had that problem again that i suffered with for 2 decades. Had neck fusion 10-30-24 c-5-c-6-c-7. Month out now it relieved all the right shoulder and arm pain and neuropathy. Starting therapy next week for my neck. So far the recovery from the surgery has been a drop in a bucket figure speaking compared to before surgery. F.y.i. the muscle relaxers will make a man ramble on l.o,l.
