Got the same and worse as a nurse sweetheart. All bame staff on duty, a patient refused to be care for by us, he wanted pain medication he refused from us. Then after discharged PALS submitted a complain from him, and we were all asked to write a statement, i refused and was threatened with disciplinary.

Good for you. I don’t think the general public realise how physically and emotionally damaging working in healthcare is. No one should be sitting in their car crying before or after a shift in a hospital.

I worked in a local social services office in Lewisham. And a perspective client said they didn't want a Black worker. Fortunately, the senior on duty said to the prospective client. It's either this social worker or no social worker. Clearly , his problem wasn't that serious because he left the building.

Go into private care, the stress is less and the money is more... if you can't stand the heat, get out..letting yourself down and others too.

Quit the job, it's not good for you. Go for what you want. To make you happy. Lofe is too short to in a position that doesn't make you happy. 🎉❤

I’m glad we can recognise that these things are still happening in the UK. Being racist then blaming MH. Ive grown a thick skin and respond accordingly. Sorry you experience this - it just jealousy to be laughed at. You are smart, young and beautiful. They can't take pressure.

No you were right to leave, when it has such an impact on your mental health. My niece is a Consultant in A&E. Although she loves her job, perhaps it depends on your hospital location in the UK.😊
