John is every good and moral black man in America. P.S. An if John lawyer wasn't so immoral maybe John might have healed his son. Michael should have won an Oscar for playing John Coffey! Oh and there is a story about a Roman soldier who helped kill Jesus was cursed to live until Judgement Day too.

How did we get to the end and you thought the no-face monster and the demogorgon were different things? 😅 Edit ; OK I can understand your confusion because the demogorgon from the actual game was a two headed dragon thing… but the kids are just using that term to make sense of the faceless monster

Claudia did develop out of the state of liking dolls. Lestat kept giving them to her, but she didn't want them. (There are many adults who collect dolls, but Claudia was not interested in dolls, and after Lestat's "death," she had dresses made that were more in the fashion of an adult.)
@HuntingVioletsАй бұрын
That's a good idea about taking the dresses off and covering up with them.

I don't think Claudia remembers about her mother, really. Or maybe she just wants to make it sound worse.

Yeah, I wouldn't give Louis any points for freeing the slaves. How does anybody know they were freed anyway? How are they going to make new lives without being enslaved again quickly. Even free men could be kidnapped into slavery, so a huge group making it out with no papers even isn't that promising. Also, he killed Thandiwe Newton's character!

_Twilight_ has its own mythology, but I would also say it's less a story about vampires than it is a romance novel with vampires in it. (Every writer has the right to make their own mythology. I'm not saying this is bad. Most vampire stories are from the points of view of the humans, and Anne Rice made hers from the vampires' POVs -- although it often delves into the paths that led to their being vampires.)

Gary Sinese is well known for his work helping war vets. The actor who plays young FG also joined the military, perhaps because of the impact of the film. And, the young Jenny actress went on as a child actress in several roles, and perhaps ironically, as an adult is listed on IMDB as an "intimacy co-ordinater". (a professional who helps actors be safe and comfortable in sex scenes).

For a completely new Vampire lore, watch The Underworld movies! Hot vampires, hot fight scenes, and a new origin story! You may even like it more than this.

Louis thinks that Lestat turned him because he was after his wealth. It wasn't. Lestat fell in love with him and turned him. Lestat is bisexual. When he was turned, the vampire who turned him deleted himself right after he turned Lestat, leaving him with a large fortune. Hollywood did make another movie with the characters from the books but they combined like 3 books into the movie, Queen Of The Dammed. Lestat was played by Stuart Townsend and I hated that movie. The only good thing about it was the Queen. She was absolutely lethal and beautiful, played by the late Aliyah. The TV show on AMC is ok. I loved both Louis and Lestat in that show. All the other characters did not appeal to me, especially Claudia. She was actually only 5 when she was turned in the books. The movie made her older but the show made her even older, I did not like that.

Ah..where to begin? You know nothing about vampires and Twilight has damaged your core. 😂🤣 This can be corrected. 😂 Yes, Ann Rice wrote a whole collection of books on vampires. Lestat De Lioncourt is actually the main antihero of the books. He's called The Brat Prince and he loves that title. The first book, Interview With The Vampire is told from the view of Louis de Pointe du Lac, but the rest of the books feature mainly Lestat and other more ancient vampires. We even find out who the first vampire is and how she came to be, Queen Akasha. Lestat is hard to kill in this story because he's had the blood of some ancient vampires in his system. Blood from Magnus, Marius, and Akasha. In the 80s, he even started a band with some human. 😂 In the books, I believe Lestat is the one who destroyed Armand's coven of vampires. He then gives the theater to his first lover but that lover destroyed himself in a fire. This all happened before Lestat created Louis. So to kind of get revenge on Lestat, Armand allows his new coven to delete Claudia and imprisoned Louis. And Louis even leaves with Armand after that. Anyways, that was just a short recap of a couple of the books. Ann Rice was the first writer to romanticize vampires. So all modern vampires exist because of her. 😍

@thatRalphieGuy It's quite different from the film (amd the source material), but the overall spirit is very much the same. The AMC series is a 10/10 throughout, and that's coming from a lifelong Anne Rice fangirl.

Taking all that water from thousands and thousands would be a logistical nightmare a bit like the samurai when they tried to conquer China there tradition was to present the heads of there enemy to there lord but they had so many it was logistically impossible so they pickled noses in barrels and sent them back to Japan :(

Okay the main issue re Y2K was about computers not being equipped to deal with dates going past the years 1999//2001. “Nothing happened,” but this was because people took precations and adjusted accordingly. So many people take it as an example of silly panic when it was a somewhat legitimate concern and was averted because it was a concern. If anyone else has different or better input, feel free to share lol. And sure there were some people who wondered if the world would mystically end like in 2012 and every year, but that wasn’t THE Y2K scare. XD People were more afraid computers and machines would go haywire. I might agree with you re 2012 though 🕊️
