Bro i have to tell you from knowledge even if you put 6 quarts since 0w-20 is so light it might not hurt. Try it might get better mileage. In the summer i would put 5w-30 for a thicker cushion for better protection in heat so oil diesnt break down as much then you lose all slipperiness sonce the friction modifiers and other additive ingredients are gone too. This manual should say its okay in severe more extreme conditions if not check out the 2023 2024 tacoma owner's manual on google I also highly recommend castrol gtx high mileage 5w-20 when it has 75,000 miles. Even wal mart Supertech conventional says for all mileage so i wonder if you can just go ahead and try shii even at 35,000 miles since people who know love castrol durable film strength the castrol edge tested in 5w-30 has 3x better film strength too due to liquad titanium. I mean try the regular gtx in 5w-20 and 5w-30 in addition to castrol edge 0w-20 5w-20 5w-30 see what you like best. Bro remember thicker 5w-30 might give it better cushion to protect in the summer especially on a 2.4 turbo and you wont have to add oil too much like with 0w-20

Good thing you're working on a white car because you scratched it up something terrible. I know you're using a friend or family car, this would be unacceptable for a client. One bucket, no grit guard. Just flip the mitt? Lol... I knew it was going to be bad when you didn't lift the front wiper blades. Rinseless washing a clean car vs actually cleaning a dirty car are very different things. Good production, terrible technique and terrible information. Get trained before you make instructive videos.

No pressure, always pretreat the surface before contact washing, I prefer the sponge over microfiber, foam rinse foam for safest washing, clean your sponge often by dunking in the wash bucket. Full video for complete guide!

Keep up the good work, this is great. As much as I’ve learned from the big channels, I don’t have wall connections to pro level air compressors, extraction vacuums, water, etc. I also have another primary job which is time consuming. @rolyamsr81724 күн бұрын
I’ve been detailing for a while and am yet to try it just because I cant understand how it wouldn’t mar the paint. Its less lubricating than traditional soap on a good mitt and you don’t rinse off the dirt you just rubbed around before drying
@willsridecare4 күн бұрын
@@rolyamsr8172 exactly my thought before trying it. It’s best to do a prewash with it and rinse off before contact washing. The lubrication is not necessary less because of the polymer encapsulation. But I’m not a scientist so all I can say is I haven’t found clear coat marring in my experience.
@jeffc68324 күн бұрын
As far as the paint is concerned, it is just as lubricating as soap. If you use it as designed with a rinseless sponge, the sponge picks up the encapsulated dirt and then deposits it into the bucket and comes out clean. The prewash process is the same as soap, you knock off all the heavy grit before touching the paint and then you're just removing the light film of grime. If you're leaving dirt on the surface before drying, you need to work on your technique.

Pre-rinse method is fine when you don't have access to foam. One bucket wash is perfectly fine. The make up brushes are excellent for dusting, combined with vacuum. They are too soft to clean surfaces, and definitely agree with the foam ending up in crevices.

Just seen another comment stating that you don’t support using soft brushes. May I ask why? I feel I’ve had good results of removing dirt even compared to a stiff brush but that’s my personal experience on a well maintained car
@willsridecare6 күн бұрын
Haha, no I'm not against soft brushes. They're referring to a video I made about using a brush and foaming interior cleaner. I don't find it to be that effective and necessary to get foam everywhere in the interior with a brush, instead I like to use a microfiber with rinseless or interior clean, reserving brushes for very tight crevasses my hand cannot reach!
@TheRebornBNASTY7 күн бұрын
6:59 I always do tires first due to them being the dirtiest and don’t want the dirt sprayed off on to the paint after I cleaned it. If you get the chance to do it again indoors you could do it like DiyDetail does it and foam the whole car and let it dwell while cleaning the tires.
