Was it too cold to apply ceramic spray protection after the wash? Curious why you skipped this step
@willsridecareКүн бұрын
Haha no I definitely could have but I just didn’t feel the need to since I have a ceramic coating on it and I’m about to do a 1 year update on this coating outdoors 24/7 without any toppers. Thanks for watching!

Its not probably useless . It depends on how dirty the car is. The car in your video is not very dirty its just dirty .
@willsridecareКүн бұрын
That might be true but I would still pretreat a dirt covered off road truck with an APC before I rinse. The chemical makes rinsing actually effective.

What about the small gaps? Around the headlights, mirrors and where window trim meets the doors, emblems etc? I'm finally going to try rinseless wash, but those small spaces aren't sponge friendly, so that's my concern.
@willsridecare2 күн бұрын
That’s was my thought in the beginning as well. If there is built up gunk in crevices, an APC and detailing brush would be my recommendation. For normal cleaning, the sponge has cuts that form a grid, which becomes little fingers that will clean out the gaps. If it’s a spot where the sponge can’t reach, I would use a rinseless soaked detail brush for agitation. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

No, you pre rinse to rinse all the shit off so you dont scratch your car with all the dirt on it

Nice video. I agree with 4 of the 5. Strongly disagree with not using the 2 bucket method. The rinse bucket removes and collects the dirt deposited in ones mitt or sponge. Otherwise that dirt is deposited into the wash bucket. I even use a rinse bucket with rinseless wash and that bucket has a Detail Guardz grit guard and scrub wall. Don't know whoever came up with a rinse bucket isnt needed with rinseless wash. Cant be bothered with using ten microfibers to wash my vehicle. Aa mitt or sponge is fine if one rinses it out. Dont get the second foaming either as people still use a wash bucket after the second foaming. Second foaming seems like a waste of product to me.
@willsridecare3 күн бұрын
Thanks!! Sounds like you’re a single foam two bucket person! Nothing wrong with that, foam rinse foam just minimizes the grit on the surface before contact washing, the single rinse bucket will be for cleaning off the road film and grime on the wash media. Either way works! Thanks for watching and sharing!

@ I didn’t hear of that until Brian from APEx Auction Car Reconditioning brought that up. Apparently, you need to apply it first to neutralize salt effect and then proceed to wash the car.
@TheBreakfastLover10 күн бұрын
@@willsridecareRoad Salt Neutralizer is essentially a concentrated water spot remover, highly acidic. Brian at Apex I believe uses Detco's neutralizer which is sulfamic acid, pH around 1. I do NOT recommended using it undiluted.

I use a Fanttik sprayer. I hit the car with Rinseless, let dwell, then hit the car again with Rinseless, which flushes the surface dirt and leaves Rinseless for my contact wash. No need for a hose, and I use 1oz Rinseless in sprayer and 1oz in 2 gallons in bucket. Takes about 20min max for my 4runner. You can hit wheels and wheel wells with Dark Fury, then original hit of Rinseless on car also rinses the wheels.
