How can I scrap my freighter?

So basically I need to sell half my inventory and all my stuff in my ship

this is where I'm at in the "upgrade to S vs Buying at S class". Ive read a lot of comments on reddit and forum comments that say upgrading a ship to an S class will leave it with lower stats (hyperdrive range/ damage etc) than it would if you had the exact same ship found as an S class. Lemme know what you think!

Is there any way to retrieve a ship you claimed that is broken? When I try to summon it, it will not come in because it says it has broken parts.

After reading all of @Frank Martel's "commentary," yes this review is not designed for advanced players familiar with the CPU resource and the more current and superior designs available from the same authors who made the bases reviewed here (prefabs are generally player-made designs the devs liked, with some exceptions like the guy who made those two space stations who actually is with Eleon), with the new shape types and such since made available. But the review is still good quality because it gets new players who are *totally lost* a decent idea of game features. There are a lot more features, but too many mentioned means *even totallyer lost*, alright Frank? Okay? No more bashing posts? Haha, thumbs up and more plz, CompleteLooney. If you do like the bases, check the Steam Workshop for more by those authors. You can check who the author is from the Statistics tab in the main control panel of the base, lower left--real fine print, haha. You'll see names like CrazyZ, jrandall... Jrandall, who built the Far Point base, makes a number of truly astounding works of art while his main philosophy is just as you said, actually--utility. If it doesn't have utility, he wants to improve on the design until there is utility, and inspires many players to make similarly styled and utilitarian works in the process. CrazyZ meanwhile is all about the luxury look and using blocks in different ways. You can find videos from both jrandall (Jeff Randall) and CrazyZ, and others like Spanj, Vermillion, on KZbin, about their Empyrion builds. Jrandall likes to show how he builds and instructs as he does. CrazyZ makes high-quality music videos with his builds using music he also composes. Spanj streams the building of his own creation videos on the weekend, and plays hard mods on hard mode during the week. Vermillion and ravien_ff made the Reforged Eden mod which is very large, very very complex, very addictive, moreover it wants to kill the player off very very very fast, hahaha. Enjoy.
