Great review of hose clamps, check out a hose clamp that eliminates the issues with worm gear and spring type clamps. Safety Spring Clamp kzbin.info/www/bejne/fV7Pg4R7iNdob9U

I always love the higher raspier sounding exhaust setups. Makes it sound like an old school trans am car and whenever you do a burnout the thing is just SCREAMING!

Wouldnt having the longtubes on backwards affect the scavenging and the sound?

that's a good question! its possible but i don't know for sure. I'm learning there's a lot of factors i didn't think of in this test. i hope i will have time in the future to test a lot of what I've learned. thanks for the comment!

For Your cross plane engine you need crossover pipes , 4-1 collectors take 8 into 2, then 2-1 just before the muffler. No resonator.

On you tube you can find a Ford 347 with an 8 into 1 header (65 Mustang FB) with an excellent explanation of the correct construction and how it works. Nice effort though!!

bring the tubes together at the collector in the firing order of the engine. with rotation or against rotation will sound different as well.
@bryanglover3217
@bryanglover3217 10 ай бұрын
In order to make the header sound right the tubes has got to go as the firing order of the car in a round circle of the tubes Collector like distributor called 180 header what's 1 ft piece of 4 inch pipe after the collector to get the right tone you can't use schedule 40 water pipe either you might get away with electrical conduit a lot of late model wedge cars back in the late eighties and nineties ran 180 headers . I think Ford put them on the GT40
