i’m so fed up with her father. he literally went out his way, and HAS been going out of his way to punish her for having drive, passion & talent. something he had once upon a time and lost. i don’t know if he just hates seeing so much of himself in her but i bet if it was Dan he wouldn’t be half as upset. she’s the black sheep somehow but Dan gets to do whatever he wants, especially when he was with Serena. Dan almost got kicked out of school for going to a pool party & this man wasn’t half as upset. What a fucked up father, always criticizing her instead of being supportive. Jenny literally wouldn’t disobey as much if he was on her side every once in a while.

I ❤ how she tells Rufus to get out of her way when she doesn't mean it and then kisses him. You can tell she wasn't thinking about Bart at all. I admit I am jealous of Lilian because of how cute Rufus is. He is such a handsome good looking man and a good dad.❤❤❤❤ I also love that song "Every time". Thank you, Matthew Settle for all your acting.

If there were one couple that should have ended up together it was Rufus and Lily. I mean I'm biased because I'm a 90's music child but to me the writers did the fans a disservice as imo their story was the most compelling on the show and they looked so damn good together.

i could feel sparks between them at the concert when she looked at him performing the song i loved this episode and then the kiss after Rufus performs and then they are in bed and both get phone calls i love the shirt that Rufus was wearing at the concert i have song everytime stuck in my head😅 it is so catchy they deserve each other both look so snuggled and relaxed in bed nice and calm 🤩❤💝💜

The only thing that could have made it better is if he called her Rhodes instead of Van der Woodsen. He knew and loved her as Lily Rhodes before she was Lily Van der Woodsen so it should be more natural, and a cute callback, to their time as lovers in their youth

Rufus was so fucked up for this. He was acting like what she did was worse than last season. She was legit doing what she loved. The fact that he is a parent who chased his dream when he was younger and pretty much didn't want his own child to do the same. He's just bitter she's doing whatever it takes to get to her dream. I'd rather her chase her dream. Doing whatever it takes rather than being a thief like she was in season 1

They're so much the grown version of Dan and Blair. It's like they almost said at the end "let's not do it again sometimes"
