Today I burnt some birthday cards & letters my ex sent me last year. In an old pot , we broke up last November. So I've been watching KZbin & this song turns up! How weird! I told no one, the universe is a joker!

I was stationed at RAF Alconbury when Relax and Two tribes were #1 and #2 on the British charts. After 4 weeks, they switch positions. The video is great.

I am 349...and I remember telling Johann Sebastian Bach. "Joey" I said "hang around a few hundred years and you'll hear a group called Frankie blow your socks off". How right I was.

1984 and I was 17. I think it's hard for older or younger folks to realize just how immersed my generation (X!) was in impending nuclear destruction. Remember that 1983 was a very close call. How we dreaded Reagan. Movies like The Day After and Threads. How we each thought about what might happen to us as the missiles struck - would we be vaporized at once, or live out horror afterwards?

They had almost no success here in Brazil, but I was in tune with the music coming from England and saw some elegant pop!

Had this on vinyl back in the day and played it to death. Still sounds brilliant. Great music stands the test of time, and this masterpiece is no exception. Trevor Horn is an absolute genius.

Heres the lyrics: When two tribes go to war A point is all that you can score (Score them all, score them all) When two tribes go to war A point is all that you can score (Working for the black gas) Cowboy number one A born-again poor man's son (Poor man's son) On the air America I modeled shirts by Van Heusen (Working for the black gas) Yeah You know When two tribes go to war A point is all you can score (Storm them all, storm them all) When two tribes go to war A point is all you can score Working for the black gas Switch off your shield Switch off and feel I'm working on loving, yeah Giving you back the good times Ship it out, out Working for the black gas A point is all you can score When two tribes go to war When two tribes go to war A point is all you can score We got two tribes We got the bomb We got the bomb, yeah Yeah Sock it to me biscuits, now Are we living in a land Where sex and horror are the new Gods? Yeah When two tribes go to war A point is all you can score

I love this track from Wendy & Lisa. This mix has a cool Prince vibe, especially the lead-guitar and that funky slap & pull bass.
