Shame you weren’t up to date on the stats and facts about living in Melbourne before making this video. The official figures were released few weeks ago and Melbourne is now the one of the most affordable cities in Australia . Only two other cities are cheaper and they are Darwin and Hobart. It is now more expensive to buy or rent a property in every other city before Melbourne 5 other major cities in Oz are more expensive than Melbourne. Seems you need to get out more and realise that yes things are expensive but other cities are doing it much euros for rent , food utilities and buying a home. This video only made you look ignorant . You can’t live in deserts and most of Australia. Sounds like your like one of those anti vax idiots who only listens to conspiracy theories and lies and spreads misinformation without knowing anything If you’re paying $100 for a haircut no wonder you don’t have enough you live beyond your means. You admit you spend money on expensive food and if you were hard up you wouldn’t be spending so much on gums etc as that’s a luxury not a necessity . Telling people they need 150-200K to live in Victoria is just spreading lies and No ever seen any one bed apt in Melb for $650/wk . You need to visit other places to put things in perspective . You obviously aren’t suffering too much if you can spend so Much time just doing weights You are not the average person, you live in a luxury new apt in an expensive suburb. That’s not what smart people do , so stop being a whinging shit when you are sending way more than you need to

Living in Brisbane comfortably on 2.5k a month. Living very frugal. 35yo, own a home paid off so yes your 6k a month makes sense if you’re paying 3.2k a month on rent.

Some people in my position I think have no hustle in them because they don’t need to but fk I don’t wanna live at my mums at 30 😂 Thanks for the video I enjoyed this and the first part 👌🏻

Shocker investments: Ripping high leverage trades on Luna after crash. Being the Whale on Rose sidecoin Rimswap... was a hell of a power trip holding most of supply. Dunked it all and crashed it. Returned to the scene of the crime and it was a scam, the devs built a token bleed into the code, lost it when could've walked away up. Star Casino Sydney, took 3.5k off me (jackasses). Going long 5x on Alibab a few years ago, news was announced the had highest sales date ever, I celebrated hard in advance... next day CRASHed to shit, wall street said 'didnt get yoy growth" that one fkn hurt. Going high leverage has burned me multiple times. Ive only gained going at spot and not getting stop hunted by the whales and sharks Ive just sold some shitty growth which has plummeted (enphase and indi), Gonna roll them into SNP, ASX and VGT. I agree with you long game "is better" id say its better for the majority that dont have 10hrs a day analysing company financials and drawing lines on charts, sweating the markets every seconds. Going low and slow on indexes and DCA into crypro at spot is much less stressful and less risky. Less rewards but less risk

You should see how messed up Perth is now, Rent here is far more expensive than in Melbourne. My Partner and I are actually planning on moving to Melbourne because it far more cheaper and since I work in the tech sector there are far more higher paying jobs over there and better career opportunities. Sure Melbourne is "Expensive" But far more cheaper than Perth now. Anyway I hope all of us find some normality within the next 10 years if our government actually wakes up. 30 Years of both Labour and Liberal Governments implementing bad policy and maybe not even doing anything at all has led us to what we are experiencing right now.

I am retired in Phoenix, Arizona. I like AUS so much. If I were a young man I would be there, except for the high housing costs. Its all about MONEY in a capitalistic society. I spoke to a woman on a cruise, and she said she and her husband flipped houses in Sydney. Made millions. Australia's politicians should design policies for modestly priced homes. Keep the country Australian. And open the big spaces of land for Australians. Politicians get elected and are out for themselves and their re-election.

Solid insight man, agree with a lot of what you said there. Its a solid Ponzi going here though I must admit, i'll give it to them. Housing being the number 1 killer of all dreams here.
@ellWayify16 сағат бұрын
I can understand how you feel like you do given your expenses and your work. Port Melbourne is very expensive place to live. You have made that choice. Even choosing to own a car is an expensive choice for commuting. I mostly work from home so don’t need to commute large distances and can live in a unit in outer suburbs. When I do commute to the city I use the train. It takes 30 mins to the city by train. It takes similar to you to drive in peak traffic and park. As for paying off a mortgage for 30 years. I did it in 7. The secret is to increase your savings rate and cut down your expenses, housing being the biggest one.
@FilipGregov16 сағат бұрын
I'm never hating on it, I'm just saying that this is how much it costs to live the life that I want. Good on you for being mortgage free :)
@ellWayify15 сағат бұрын
yep and personally I have no problem with that. But it is the life that is very high in demand and there is less supply so prices were always going to go up based on economics. Demand has increased and there wasn’t enough of housing built of the type that you want. Also it’s worth noting that you are also competing against dinks for the same housing. Ultimately it’s a very expensive lifestyle choice so expecting it to not require a high income such as 150k is unrealistic

Miami Beach is the only beach area on earth that's actually worth the price IMO. Anyway my lifestyle is simple, I just rent a small room, cook my own meals, spend most of my time outdoors and keeping fit. I use financial assets to boost my income. The results of FEMINISM, weak feminised men in positions of political power and bitter nasty lesbians in the same positions. Western women especially the white ones are the most privileged, spoilt tyrants on the face of the earth with there sex in the city and desperate housewives shallow low class Satanic Hollywood mentality. They all think they are victims or princesses or both. I just moved to the Philippines from Australia last March, never going back. Filipino women are awesome they speak up to 3-4 languages English is there second language there education system is better than ours, alot of Filipino women have University degrees and they live for their families and men and don't judge their men on height, looks, age or D Size. Since I've been here I've started 2 businesses and a Martial arts school, Filipinos get behind you here. I've told my friends for years what was coming all I got was eye rolls and smart arse comments, people have the world in their hands and they keep looking at their own crap. Footy ,piss, gambling, footy, piss, gambling, distractions , they don't want to know about anything else. You think covid would have woken everyone up but it didnt take long for Australians to go back to sleep. Conspiracy FACT. Australia is still a penal colony with a convict mentality.
