I think that as far as Dumbledore's chocolate frogs go, it's a good theory. I always wondered how in the first and second movies he always knew so much about everything. J.K. Rowling surely had creative, fun ideas and that's the reason for the success of this whole universe. And it is the reason it worked for me as a kid. But now, in my mid 20s, I wished this was done by a more skilled writer. Many plot holes could have been avoided by simple solutions, some ideas should've simply been kept an idea, not making it into the books, because they just introduces a lot of problems. I would be open for the upcoming series to clear up some of the plot holes, even if it changes things. But I am worried that J.K. Rowling is way to stubborn and full of herself to allow someone else (like a proper screen writer) to touch her story.

Regarding The cloak, Dumbledore's staff is the Elder Wand, so he could break the spell of the invisibility cloak, being the master of one of the Deadly Hallows.

They go from planet to planet, turn the citizens into voteless, leave and repeat. Even when we “win” they still gain more than they lose. A planet in ruins, most of it’s population turned to voteless and taken by the illuminate to anither world, an minimal squi’th losses.
