Very cool catch Mike. KingShark is correct. The Lookdown (Selene vomer) is a species of game fish. Although the lookdown is similar to the Atlantic moonfish, it can be distinguished by its dorsal and anal fins, the second ray on each fin being many times longer than the surrounding rays.

@Fish-Man-Mike I did some looking online and it suggests that deer will do stuff like that to distract you from their young and sometimes do it to warn you. The only thing I can think of in the woods i truly fear is a panther from the point of view of being prey lol. Heck of a video btw!

So I'm at golfens Field crabbing at 1:00 a.m. and heading home tomorrow because the next 15 days are going to be ice cold. I'm from all over the world I was brought up in gaushung Taiwan Oahu Hawaii etc etc and I know it's going to be tough and I hate the cold so I guess this is why we have to save our content of extra videos for the time where we can't make them. I'm not yet on KZbin I'm on another platform which I haven't really put my all in but I have some really good ideas Just got to wait for the cold front. Funny I used to just wait for the cold front to fish now I'm waiting for the cold front to leave so I can create and fish 👍

Because I don't like when it's cold Even if the easterners say 50 ain't cold it's cold to me. I was brought up all over the world and in other countries and I prefer Florida because of the weather so I am not looking forward too the next 10 plus days at all. I will be home under my covers bored to death. Keep your chin up keep fighting keep catching never give up in anything you do. I have some ideas about what my next move is already have another thing going on that I don't know if I want to continue but not going to sugarcoat it Florida might be a year-round fishing crabbing whatever but when

I agree 50 is cold to me as well. I grew up in Ohio, but being in Florida now for almost 5 years makes me 50 degrees cold. I definitely don't mind having bad days fishing or crabbing. I just love being outdoors.

Right now I'm killing time watching your video Just traveled 2 hours and 45 minutes two golfings Field Park Ben crabbing at Tomoka Park and fishing with no luck went crabbing at Ponce inlet and fishing caught five extremely large catfish was a fun fight but the next 10 days to 15 are going to be ice cold so I decided to keep going till tomorrow It's getting cold now and I've only got 1: crab So wish me luck I let my Georgia buddies and my Jacksonville and Nassau county buddies know that I pop in They all know I'm spontaneous So we're all going to fish tomorrow and crab in 50° weather we'll see how that goes probably not too long lol 👍👍👍😁
