Dumb question, but does the cluster show 9th and 10th gear?
@brcraceworksinc.77Ай бұрын
@@MikeStewart26 unfortunately no, the only v3 that would, I’m told, is the 2019’s. I was thinking about trying to flash an 19 os on the cluster, but I didn’t want to risk bricking the cluster. Customer is ok with 9/10 not showing

That dyno number is more than concerning.....typically 14ish lbs doubles your N/a hp. Therefore thay means this 5.3 is making less than quite a bit less than 300rwhp na

Boost 101: (and this goes for ANY roots blower), if you keep IAT's low, you can pulley a stock LT4 efficiently. Any ECU will start pulling timing when IAT's rise. Watch your logs and pull your plugs!

Great video and break down for consistent power and the average Vette owner.

This video is partially misleading. On the bottom end, naturally, a higher geared car such as the 3.91 or 4.10 gear set is going to have a much better low end torque advantage compared to the 3.45 or 3.27's. However, on the top end, (110,120,130, etc.) the lower geared car will always pull past due to the fact the higher geared vehicle has exhausted its torque flow. In the end however, it's all in what you're looking for. If you are doing strictly 1/8th mile or 1/4 mile passes, the 4.10 or 3.91 gears are inherently better due to their low end torque nature. If you are in a higher speed race (Roll races 40-160, etc.) the lower gear ratio such as 3.45 or 3.27 is the better choice due to the top end powerband. Regardless, both of the cars depicted in this video are badass cars that command respect.

What about a 2.3" pulley just to compensate for density altitude? In Denver, for example. Blower is spinning more, but the cylinder pressure is no higher than it was a sea level due to altitude.
@ClaytonYatescarenthusiast3 ай бұрын
Still creating heat based on blower speed. Then you remove the denser air that was helping cool blower and creates even more heat. If you want more than ported blowers with a lower can work. With e50 you can run an upper and not have issues in a street or 1/4 situation. He's kinda going overboard in this video with no pulley information. Just doing a 2.3 on pump 91 or 93 can make more power but usually just creates heat that then pulls all the timing and makes less. Like 1 pull and then full cool off. That's not always the case but po8nt he's stressing.

Agree !00% !!! 50% E85 ...stock pulley !!! As a road racer .....who runs equally prepared ZL1 1 LE's ...and C7 Zo6's with friends ...my stock pulley car runs just as fast or faster on the straight aways as they're pulleyed cars , that are pulling timing from excessive intake temps !!!
