Hey FLT, check out what happened to me after I watched this video. I should add that I was in WolfA, and that Mass player happens to be the WolfA CO, the same CO that "reprimanded" me for posting free stuff codes in clan chat without listing everything they are good for. I posted a link to this video in clan chat in-game and said "it starred someone we all know and includes some profane chat ...." I didn't say a word about his poor play or even comment about that profane chat. This morning when I logged in to do more NB, I was no longer in the clan, no messages or anything to indicate why. Well I think we all know why. He had a hissy fit because he got called out for that poor play and insane treatment of others in random battles. I now know why his account is hidden. I hope to find a clan soon where people aren't such tyrannical a-holes. Keep the great videos coming, thanks.

Post Recording Thoughts: I think I struggle with doing a range build with Druid because there are other Tier X Destroyers that play the long range AP game better than Druid like Marceau, Elbing, Kleber, Z-42, Khaba, and Harugumo. These Destroyers have engine boost and rear turrets for kiting where Druid does not. I do not like to build all gun boat destroyers the exact same in terms of the commander builds. If I want to play range with AP I will just take Elbing or Khaba out as examples because they can perform that role better than Druid. Where Druid is more of a tactical destroyer in the sense of picking fights wisely and positioning wisely to get the most from the ship. Just my thoughts o7 Best Regards, FLT

The problem is that all the losers are attracted to CV's because you don't risk anything. Planes are like ammo to a CV, your ship is safe until your team loses in which case it doesn't matter anyway. I hasn't considered WoWP staff poisoning the developer crew at WoWs but it makes sense. Oh well. The game is dying anyway. I am really sad about it but I think I've made my peace with it, it seems WG either really doesn't understand what's wrong and their part in that, or they don't care, which seems illogical. I got Druid a few weeks ago and I think she's great. I built her for range, but I don't have a 21 pointer yet. In a way she's easier to play than Daring because there's only AP, no HE, no torps, nothing. But yeah, CV's fuck up everything, and they're not going anywhere and in fact it looks like WG is buffing them in the upcoming rework 7.0.

Good video. As a DD main, this is a really useful reminder for torp boats. I utilise this strategy as much as I can. The hard counter to this strategy is radar, especially on a 'DD' ship. Personally I think the IJN torp boat line at tiers 6-9 need a buff, ss there has been so much power-creep and they can be challenging to play. More please!

I've given up playing torp boats. I suck SO badly at predicting where ships will go. I'm only good for spotting. Now gunboats, they're fine and fun! :D

Nice video. My biggest problem is that I just can't seem to shut up. I have a hard time keeping my guns silent. You must have the patience of Job. I recently had my very first game in a torpedo boat where I had more torpedo hits than main gun hits. That's really hard for me.

Naturally, killing an enemy Gunboat Destroyer with torpedoes is ideal and great! However, sometimes that does not always work especially for those hybrid/gunboat destroyers with Hydro Acoustic search 😅 Then as said in the video, utilize your concealment and hopefully a teammate or two nearby to assist. Not every situation will be like this as in the video, but it is a good starting point o7 Best Regards, FLT

I admire (and envy) your gentleness and your tranquility. Sadly, I'm not that kind of person, I get frustrated when I have to play repeatedly with bad/toxic/griefers players, and I left the game because the huge amount of players like that Fletcher, and the stupidity of the MM of putting very often 5 or 6 of them in only one team.

I wish there were more videos like this. I personally think I learn more from this type of video than a detailed breakdown of individual ships. There are just so many ships in the game anymore.

I had all my pc bits in the loft for over a year...just built it finally last week and just super glad the thing all worked. Glad all your bits worked as well in the end. Fresh eyes was a great move as always. Great thing about all the stress and problem solving is its abit like lvling up in a game

Petros LegMod is the worst of the 3 choices she has in the slot. Because of how dispersion mechanics work range mod gives her notably better accuracy at anything 12+km, and near identical at 6 to 12km. Same HE DPM, range is 25k AP DPM behind BUT the accuracy will make up for some of it - and you can engage targets LegMod Petro can't. Meanwhile compared to reload mod you're 16k behind HE DPM and 9k behind AP DPM despite the improved AP damage - so even if the accuracy pulls it closer as you land more shells here or there, at best you can hope to make it equal AP / behind on HE with no advantage gained. And then on top of those "didn't gain anything" cases you also pay with 1 of each consumable. It's one of the worst traps as far as LegMods go.

So basically it's out right pay to win,what else can a free to play player expect from wargaming

Was curious what this was going to be. I got unsinkable back grinding for the graf spee (eons ago lol) I was spamming Arizona and got caught by a kamikaze between dama cons. I probably caught a bow torp and just healed through the pain. Still a crazy weird achievement.

I'd say, this is a good 'gift' from WG. For 2500 dobloons you can get fully premium (!) clone of tech tree ship+ plenty of goodies. You also can sell your NC and get 6 mln back plus for first battles on CLR version you get enormous (+800%) boosts for ship and free XP, as well as credits. Tech tree ships are better then premiums of a same tier so in my opinion, she is better than legendary Massachusetts and has much longer range. The only flaw is speed of shells.

Ship's not worth it at all. If you are in absolutely in love with north carolina, then grab it I guess. Otherwise just save your resources for the upcoming 9th anniversary.
