These are nice sounding guitars. I am a bit bothered by Ibanez"s lack of full disclosure on what the body material is. The top is laminated Spruce, the back and sides are laminated maple. there is nothing wrong with laminated wood for the most part, the Gibson ES guitars are laminated as well. But with Ibanez not making this fact clear, it does two things. The first is, one one of the big box stores (GC) lists the body material as being solid wood. I guess my interpretation of solid wood is different than theirs. The second one is, it makes Ibanez look like they are hiding this as it is not disclosed on their site either. All the other respectful guitar manufactures (including the imports) list which models are solid, solid tops, and which ones are laminated. They are not trying to hide anything. Why is Ibanez. The only reason I found this information out was, I was in the process of ordering the made in Japan model from GC.(at around $3600) I contacted Ibanez and asked them very specific questions about the differences. While I am sure the made in Japan model is most likely better. I am not sure the price difference warrants that (my opinion only). I did find that both models are not made out of solid wood bodies. They are both laminated.

Greg must be a huge guy. That guitar looks like a mandolin on his body.

Its an amazing guitar for the price, the versatility is amazing. You would have to spend a LOT of money to notice an improvement.

Man I miss you guys. Best store in Canada. I was there and seen this guitar on the wall while looking around. I flew in from NL. I had no idea the store was about to close. I never bothered to try this guitar because I knew I'd want it and I was there for 2 others. But I regret not trying it because as far as acoustic guitars go, this was my end game guitar. It was just $$$. had I known the clearance sale was weeks away, this would have been mine. No other store compared to these guys and their professionalism, just friendly service. I grabbed 12 guitars from them over a decade.

Do you still have a template for the pickguard! I’m modding my Stadium as well and need a pickguard!

I thought this guitar would be beautiful, but it's the most ugly guitar, I have ever had. It plays really good, and I love the tones. I will change the design on my prs.

What song are you playing, starting around 3:35 in? It's so familiar but I can't place it. IT's going to drive me crazy until I know. Edit: Took about two weeks, but I remember it, Shenandoah.

They were very close til you got to the crunch comparison. Heritage hands down. I love how they offer the vibe and feel of a Gibson with (most of) the quality and playability of a PRS.

Just played it in a guitar shop against a Maybach lester and a medium range Gibson goldtop. The prs killed it in terms of playability, knob control and pure fun! If I didn‘t buy guitars based on looks …

Bought the black version and the Fishman Modern Fluence are honestly pretty harsh. They are very high mod focused and I had to set the bass level at 8 on my Mesa mark iv, which is extremely high compared to my other guitars where I usually set it at 3-4,5 max. The guitar is really beautiful though and really good for shredding, but not so great for chuggah chuggah stuff and I would really like to change the pickups. It also came with jumbo frets and I honestly got to say that I prefer more mid sized frets. If you are into modern metal and really do not care about low end , it is a really great guitar, but I wanted to mention the kind of negative aspects of it for anyone interested in buying it as a word of warning to those who really likes low end and chuggha metall stuff.

I've owned and gigged this guitar for about 2 years now. I've found that my favorite pickup settings are middle switch position with the majority of my blended volume knob mix coming from the bridge pickup. My next favorite position is just the straight up bridge pickup. I've found that I don't ever use just the neck pickup alone. It sounds too flubby. I coil tap occasionally but not much on this guitar.

Been in love with Godin since the 90's, got my first LG Standard way back in 1994. Then bought an LG Signature in 2004 and that has been my main guitar since. Next week I am picking up my new Summit HT Classic in trans white. Can't wait. I have owned almost every brand of guitar out there, and my Godins cover any base I need covered. I don't feel any need to buy an LP or a Strat.
