@@aarond9563 Austin, TX! We all met on Facebook groups over the past couple years and meet up around every 3 months or so. Usually at a coffee shop but our friend decided to host us at her house. We were all told to bring 5 of our recent favorites but of course we went to like 7 or 8 haha. All of the above. We all enjoy each others company but the main reason is to discover new fragrances and brands. Sometimes we trade decants. I actually ended up with a trade this time around. I ended up with Kajal Lamar Noir.

I love the Moon and I think Julien Rasquinet works really well with either mint or a fruity note, (or even both in Masque Milano Russian Tea). I have a 10ml decant of Moon and I cherish it!

@@ryanx3584 I’m curious to see what his favorite creation ever is. He teased that he’s made his favorite perfume about a month ago on Instagram but didn’t say the name or brand. Not sure if it’s a new Amouage or something entirely different. Russian Tea sounds fantastic.

Nice collection and presentation! I know they are all different styles, but do you have a top 3 or 5 out of the group? I love The Night. I agree with the other comment, you might enjoy Amouage Silver Oud. I like King Blue too. Happy New Year.

Oud Rosewood, Roja UAE, B683 Extrait, Promise (although it’s Cypriol oil), Oud Ispahan. And I’ve been wanting to get some Amouage in my collection. The new ones are catching my attention. Cheers!

@ Funny I’ve had a hand full of patchouli fragrances (portrait of a lady, Le lion, Patchouli of the Underworld etc) but never reached for them🤷🏽♂️ until I took my bottle of Hypnotizing fire to Vegas for New Years and I couldn’t stop wearing it. I wouldn’t classify myself as a ‘Patch Hoe’ yet LOL. But patchouli has definitely moved up on my list. Keep the frag share coming💪🏽

Excellent collection. I have been wearing Oud Rosewood a lot lately - it's beautiful. You might enjoy Cartier's Les Heures Voyageuses (their oud line.)

@@zambowman I need to get a proper travel spray for my Oud Rosewood. I can’t lug around that big 250ml bottle haha. Had no idea Cartier had an Oud line. I’ll have to check it out. And in this video I tidally forgot to mention that I had Oud Maracuja earlier this year but sold it to grab UAE. Oud Maracuja was very nice and had a juicy passionfruit. It just won best niche fragrance on fragrantica.

How have I not stumbled upon this channel prior to now, cool stuff. I nearly pulled the trigger on the Couer de Oud but I own lord knows how many artisanal ouds so no point. Also shout out to the Lempicka! Nice anis scent.

Welcome! My next video is going to be all the ouds in my collection. I ended up wearing Coeur de Oud last night…for some reason every time I wear it it gives me sniffles. I do quite enjoy it. I wonder if they already sold all 500 bottles of it. Lempicka AM is so good. Would love to see a modernized version of it with a higher concentration.

@patchoulipapi Maybe something about cambodi oud tickles your nose? I'm sure I seen they were down to the last ten only two weeks ago so not far off all gone. I used to own Lolita Lempicka AM and it was so cheap back then! Lovely scent. I'm wearing Rendez-Vous by Antoine Lie and Sonia Sieff. Interesting gunpowder iris thing, check it out.

About those , dirty raunchy type fragrances. I don't think I will EVER be able to enjoy them. Kubloachan (correct or not) I smelled the old version & it's a NO for me. Of course to each his own, I just had to share that 🤷♂️

Hah…I understand that. I don’t remember why or when I started to enjoy them quite heavily. I think everything at some point got too boring for me so I decided to expand my palette slowly. I think Le Labo Labdanum 18 was one of the first ones in that realm for me.

Very cool pickups. A little jealous of that bell jar of MKK-- I've been going back and forth on whether to pull the trigger on it. Coincidentally, I've also been fascinated with my decant of Al Oudh lateky. I feel like it would wear really well in the heat but I haven't been brave enough to test out that theory lol. Such a good looking bottle. I do want to expand into more of the bell jars at some point but not sure which one to grab next. I think I wore Al Oudh in the summer once to go pick up groceries and couldn’t shake the thought of offending everyone around me. I think further into the dry down it resembles a “normal” woody scent.

@@patchoulipapi The idea of wearing Al Oudh in line at Publix and someone behind me going "what's that smell?" is truly one of my nightmares. Apparently all of the Lutens currently in the tall black bottles are moving to bell jars. But no sprayer + never at discounters + $300/75ml is so painful.

Just found your channel. KZbin recommendations! TdH Parfum, Fetish, MFK Oud Extrait, VH Couer de Oud got decent wear in my collection this year from your list. I think I like Couer de Oud more than you (I appreciate the clean aspect of the oud and I don't find it linear - it has a pretty strong transition to my nose). Look forward to more in 2025!

Shout out to KZbin recommendations. Welcome! I ended up wearing Coeur de Oud last night after reading this comment. It’s nice…but I’m thinking something in it is causing my nose to malfunction. I’m always sniffling wearing that one for the first 30 minutes. The transition to me wasn’t apparent until I woke up in the morning. The Oud resembles that classic Dior Oud dry down which I enjoy. We’ll see you in the next video with my Oud collection!

Crazy thing is that it’s gone up in price since. I ended up wearing The Night to the party the day before the wedding and Diaghilev the day off. Funny that this video also contains the same cat licking herself in the background 😂

Nightclubbing is simply far too weak a performer. I'm not one of those young Beastmoder's who gripe if a scent isn't nuclear, and I cherish lots of subdued skin scents in my collection, but this is gripe-worthy. I have a Celine Discovery set and have test worn four so far, and the house has a serious issue with performance.

These sound great. I'm interested in ingredients fragrance by Maison Crivelli. I recently tried tuberose astral, and it was stunning. I wore another 13 to the office once and literally everyone wanted to know what I was wearing, and they got sticker shock when they looked up the price. I have and older bottle that is very potent. I'm treasuring the last 5ml because the modern batches I've smelled don't hit the same. The less abstraits you featured also sounds awesome. I just tried Fetish last weekend. Classy stuff 👌
