Geez...Howard was only 37 in 1984....but he looks like he's 75 and Mark looks like he's 25 yet in actuality he's only 2 months younger than Howard. Somebody needs more sleep.

Mark Volman must be in a different time dimension than Howard (and most of the rest of us for that matter). It's really rather amazing how much slower he seems to be aging... good genes I suppose.

I went through the same thing last year, lol For weeks I couldn't get enough of The Turtles. My favorite has to be Bob Dylan's It Ain't Me Babe.

He looks horrible. The gray hair and that dyed brown mustache over the thick gray beard is utterly ghastly. He looks 70 years old. Volman looks 40 years younger than him. Kaylan's voice is rather effeminate also

My god...Howard Kaylan aged so horribly in such a short amount of time. He's supposed to be around 37 here, yet he looks to be pushing 70 by his long thinning grey hair and beard. He could easily pass as a homeless old man if he wasn't wearing that suit and tie.

strange how time works IF this interview is from 84 and Kaylen might have been born in 47. That would make him 37 when he did this interview. Both Volman and Kaylen were born the same year, according to their autobiography. They do not look the same age

They were a fun rock n roll group. Elenore was a song that hit home in a nice way. " Even though your folks hate me". That is followed by i think i love. Also a real band who played live.

He was only 37 years old here. Now unfortunately he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. I saw him on stage in July 2023 and it was noticeable. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last that we see of him.

Always dug their music. White Whale Label. I got one of Mark Volman's drum sticks his was using as a percussionist piece. 2 sticks. It was a Great Performance and l got to see them. Great Video! Then saw them years later on the Happy Together Tour. Both on Long Island.

Being born in July of 1996, I obviously wasn't around then. Being a lead vocalist we do 60s, through today. Mr. Kaylan, and Mr. Volman, I have tried numerous times to tell them we are doing It aint me babe, and You Baby, and these guys are the most miserable , you can ever imagine. They ignore you repeatedly, now I couldn't care less if they allow with their blessing. I am 26 now, a grown man, I was trying 6 years ago. Fuck these two!

This brings me back ten years earlier to a sunday night in 1974 on los angeles rock station kmet with flo and eddie by the fireside. They talked about guacamole for much of that show which was a new subject for me.
