Nice Strategic moves Ben! Love It, and you sound super excited and "STOKED" about 2025 for you and your Fam!! No doubt your Fam really feels it as your racing all over the World! : ( But NO DOUBT you targeting "THE TRIPLE CROWN" is so AWESOME, I have noticed a pattern on "A LOT" of Pros (on both the Men's and Women's) on how they have justified within their respective parameters what Race series to target: T100 or IM, and yet no one Mentions "The CHALLENGE Series" because they really only have The ICONIC "ROTH" Race! But your fans were truly surprised on what you just mentioned that all the training was done in 2024, the "aero" enhancements gained and how they translated in the wind tunnel, yet the product did not show unfortunately in your results and performances in 2024. : ( Unless if a T100 event just falls in perfect race date that won't interfere with the IM Pro series and the goal of the triple crown, Your loyal fans recommend you just forgo the T100 events for 2025! All the best in 2025! You can DO IT! or quoting Nike: "JUST DO IT!"

I heard there is a bike change. Is that true and if so when will the announcement come?
@PendolaTraining18 күн бұрын
Well said Ben. You give the reasons why you need change with respect to your past and present team. No one gets it perfect. These are tough changes, but if you do what is easy now, life will get harder later. As always, I’m honored to work with you through the process to success in 2025!

Lengthen your squat, you're not really taking any weight off the front foot if the back foot is a bit out of line

I probably would of had a more respect for a coach that you worked with for so long than to use him as click-bait. Sign of the times I guess it this hungry world of 'likes and views'.
@teamkanute2 ай бұрын
The thumbnail and title are the only clickbait things about this and is clearly a joke. I have a lot of respect for Jim and we see each other as family and only want the best for each other. I thought it was fair to share why I made this change, and I think the fact I tried to change everything before coach shows how much I respect and loved working with him.

I wanted to work with my coach longer to speak better on this. I felt it was fair to talk about why I made this decision and once I have some time working with my new coach can speak on those details.

I enjoy following your journey and wish you well. However, it was surprising not to hear you say you executed the race very poorly by overbiking and as a result running terribly as with several other pros. I guess the impression you are giving is that your strategy was all or bust.
@teamkanute2 ай бұрын
Overbiking could have played a role. My bike fitness has been great and while I pushed the pace at certain points, none of it was way above my ability. I think this is a case of death by a thousand cuts between prep, taper, execution of pace/hydration and heat. I could have sat further back in the pack and been more conservative, but with how my bikes have gone this year overall, I think there could be something more underlying in prep potentially. There’s always the what if I had gone ultra conservative, but that climb and descent from hawi is always a place where the pace gets hot, and again, I was a bit closer to 70.3 watts, but not overly pushing it.
@ZeroCarbIronman2 ай бұрын
@ I really appreciate you taking the time to reply and that you, of course, know far better as to the causes for the performance. In watching the video and the run times of so many other athletes, I felt the need to share a slightly different perspective. Congratulations on your first Kona World Championships Ben, here’s to a higher finish next time round. Best of luck in Dubai tomorrow! 👍🤞Cheers, Sandy from Scotland 🏴 PS I’ll be in Oceanside and Nice (first Ironman World Championships) as an Age Grouper in 2025, hope to see you there!
