What size belt you use or part number if you have it, I too am doing the hellcat front timing but to my 5.7 with a 2.7 hellcat snout pulley. I was thinking use the stock hellcat one as the adapter raises the supercharger and it should make up for the smaller pulley.

It also look like you’re running front thermostat, housing, and pulley system off of the hellcat to make the supercharger to work because I saw other way and I don’t like it. The part that I need a hack off the front top part of the housing.

Mmx just introduced a complete kit to make that happen . Keep the boost below 6 and you will be good

You have to use hellcat pan for the front pan bolts to line up with front cover

Hellcat front cover and oil pan. But that also requires hellcat waterpump and all pulleys and tensioner

What exactly was needed to make the 6.4 accept the blower. Like a hellcat ecu, new wiring, splicing, etc?

I ran a hellcat front timing cover ,waterpump , lower pulley and oil pump . I used my 5.7 harness and my ecu. Remote tuned using hemifever tune . I did have to remove tape on harness to separate injector and coil wires . If you do this you will not have to splice .

I’ve got forged internals on my R/T 392 swapped Durango but I was thinking of going the turbo route. Now I’m thinking of just getting a Hellcat blower since they only put out 5-6 lbs of boost on the 6.4. I don’t want to get too much boost for my daily driver.

You can get more boost with a pulley change . It will only cause you trouble asking for more than that . I blew mine up and have a hellcat motor now .

I did a pulley change and was pushing 12 lbs. I ended up blowing the side out when a rod failed .

Yes you can but the front cover and oil pan also has to be changed to run the hellcat pulley setup

The bottom end isn't the weak point.

Wrong. The 392 bottom end is maxed out in stroke. Which can't handle the higher power of the hellcats, red eye etc. Thus is why Dodge uses the 6.2 not 6.4 .

Yes you could get away with 6 lbs . The problem is you will want more . I put a smaller pulley on mine and blew the bottom out !

I had forged piston but I ran stock rods. It held up until I changed pulley. If your gonna due piston definitely do rods !

You can but it’s costly, I did a 454 stroker: it’s making 600hp crank but can handle another 250shot of nitrous. Another guy did same mods as me but had a high ram he has making 615 wheel and it’s over 700 crank

Lol. Most cold air intake give you hot air! Superchargers don’t work well with hot air ! That’s a hellcat air box sucking cold air from lower bumper vent .
