You can but it’s costly, I did a 454 stroker: it’s making 600hp crank but can handle another 250shot of nitrous. Another guy did same mods as me but had a high ram he has making 615 wheel and it’s over 700 crank

I’ve got forged internals on my R/T 392 swapped Durango but I was thinking of going the turbo route. Now I’m thinking of just getting a Hellcat blower since they only put out 5-6 lbs of boost on the 6.4. I don’t want to get too much boost for my daily driver.

You can get more boost with a pulley change . It will only cause you trouble asking for more than that . I blew mine up and have a hellcat motor now .

It also look like you’re running front thermostat, housing, and pulley system off of the hellcat to make the supercharger to work because I saw other way and I don’t like it. The part that I need a hack off the front top part of the housing.

Whats the reason to replace the oil pan? Is the timing cover completely different or was it mainly the water pump? I saw you mentioned you bought the coolant pump and reservoir and cooler for 500, was that including the lines? And how are you controlling the pump?

Front timing cover and oilpan have different bolt pattern at mating surface . If you use hellcat timing cover you have to use oilpan . I used stock cooler and lines but aftermarket pump. Pump runs with keyed power.

What exactly was needed to make the 6.4 accept the blower. Like a hellcat ecu, new wiring, splicing, etc?

I ran a hellcat front timing cover ,waterpump , lower pulley and oil pump . I used my 5.7 harness and my ecu. Remote tuned using hemifever tune . I did have to remove tape on harness to separate injector and coil wires . If you do this you will not have to splice .

I had forged piston but I ran stock rods. It held up until I changed pulley. If your gonna due piston definitely do rods !

Yes sir. Hellcat setup uses 2 belts so the bottom pulley has to be replaced. I also pinned mine .

Wrong. The 392 bottom end is maxed out in stroke. Which can't handle the higher power of the hellcats, red eye etc. Thus is why Dodge uses the 6.2 not 6.4 .

15 gets 860 to the wheels on E85 or race gas. Not pump that's for sure. 800-815 on a hellcat with someone who knows how to tune- Barth or Dusterhoff. Also compression is not the reason you were at 6lbs. If so you would be making the same power a Hellcat does stock with just 6lbs. Efficiency is what drops boost. You would need an injector upgrade if you were spinning the supercharger the same as a cat with 2.72 pulley. I'm 10% ATI/2.85 Metco and run 17lbs on pump with a little E85 and some Boostane.
