I think it is a Harmony? It was a house bass at the studio, actually.

i’m 13:22 in. when Duff was rambling off his spiel that he’s used to doing, I was thinking, damn another memory regurgitation. Now 13:22 in, saying you want to talk fresh things, that’s great. Looking forward to the next 1h:14. 🤟🏼🤨🤟🏼

I appreciate your humbleness towards all these experiences and Duff is such a great songwriter. I really enjoy his work so far. And I think it surpasses anything guns n' roses is done past their heyday and what a fortunate experience you have to be able to play with him and some of these great bands you're getting to show your talents with.

“ Parker was only an experiment to see what might come together, “Jeff Buckley and Mick Grondahl. Eidel’s contribution is more defined and solid example of how those three songs were to sound. Kindered was still young and his contribution had yet to be demonstrated during JB’s lifetime. “ Haven’t You Heard,” “ Everybody Here Wants You” and accidentally, “ Fall in Light” were the closest he came to anything nearly defined, according to Buckley in phone conversation.

Parker Kindred is no doubt a talented drummer and the city is loaded with similar talent. Kindred was spotted by Jeff Buckley’s bass player, Mick Grondahl, while playing at a West Twenty Fourth Street Video with the unheard of Negatones. After the show, Grondahl approached Kindred and asked him if he wanted to audition for The JB Band. Kindred came down to Context Studios in The East Village among a handful of competitors. He passed the audition and was accepted by Jeff and the band. For the next three months, Kindred rehearsed and recorded with Tom Verlaine in Memphis, Tennessee for what was to be the dubbed “ The Verlaine sessions.” Compared with the surefire performance of Eric Eidel on tracks like “ Vancouver,” “ Morning Theft” and “Sky is a Landfill ,” these recordings were more akin to demoes and plans were made to made to use Andy Wallace in the summer of 1997. Unfortunately, Jeff was too accidentally drowned and no record was to be made. The remaining recordings with Kindred are not a defining examples of what Jeff was pursuing nor satisfied by. Kindred wants to bolster himself up as something more and he is clearly using his lack of involvement as a sign of his significance? That is pure bupkis. His tenure lasted three months while Eric Eidel was integral for at least eight months. Parker has nothing on Eidel and he contributed much less than he would like to imagine, the ingrate!

I’m not sure what your motivation here is, but your tone feels bitter, personal and unnecessary.
@COUCHRIFFSwithMikeSquires28 күн бұрын
@@TomWilson-jp3tl you still seem petty and like you’re on some kind of personal crusade. Chill, man. Parker is a working musician and the fact is that he worked with Buckley and it is documented. Go find another place to be spiteful.

Always was a fan of UKJ since the first ep.. Now hearing that Klaus built his main guitar explains why I could neve figure out what he was playing in the early videos i.e. Hate Everything About You.. its funny that more guitarist dont play the guitar they built or first connected with their whole career like Klaus or Nuno, Brian May etc.
