The film tells a beautiful and true story of sacrifice, love and devotion by Graham and Gladys Staines, pouring out their compassion and life skills to those who suffered leprosy India. The deeper story is that Graham and his two sons had no idea someone was plotting to kill them during a time when they had gone to help bind up the wounds of those with leprosy and to tell people of Christ's love and so they slept unsuspectingly in their car overnight...never imaging what awaited them. It is a tribute to Gladys and her daughter that they chose to forgive this act of horror and betrayal and to show the love of Christ to the man who caused the car to be burnt and to forgive the radical group who were prejudiced against the missionaries. It's a tragic story but the love of Christ and the faith of all the family shine through as they know their loved ones are in heaven now...Today Jan 22. 2024 is the 25th anniversary of the death of Graham and his two sons. We can only honor such saints and those left behind as their lives have been poured out for Christ...Their lives still bear fruit and many remember them, and carry on the work in India (Gladys and her daughter and the team in India)... 'to such belong the kingdom of God' Amen.

Sadly people who don't know the true genuineness and content of a Christian's heart misjudge and falsely accuse them as forcibly or converting with bribery. They failed to understand that the reason why most people converted is because they witnessed ' Love', 'Compassion', 'Forgiveness' and 'Kindness' which can only come from the love of Jesus. Over the past few months, there were quite a few cases where Buddhist monks in Sri Lanka attacked and/or falsely accused Christian priests and missionaries of forcibly or spreading Christianity by bribery, as they thought that that would be the only way they can prevent the spread. This movie brings awareness to the world that in many countries, minority religions are being targeted and attacked by a small percentage of their majority. I believe awareness and making movies of true events as such will educate us all humans to be more loving, compassionate, forgiving, and kind to all races regardless of our ethnicity, color, or religion.

After Graham Staines more than 100 mob lynchings have happened. A pregnant women's womb was cut and the baby was thrown in fire . No body knows the name of the victims because those victims were muslims .

Jesus has to be the centre of this movie - a true story! Its Jesus who started the faith in this couple and He is the finisher of their faith... Lets not divert or distract the audiences to anything mentioned humanely nice except to Jesus the Lord and Saviour! His Name is the only Name by which we call upon that shall be saved from eternal punishment! Who is the forgiver to our sin? Who paid for our penalty? Who convicted and compelled, enabled and empowered the couple to risk and sacrifice the self to do such mission? I salute to you Stephen Baldwin but can you speak up and clarify, not other so-called critics discount your motive to make this movie?
