But it's a story that inspires people to do good..(what is good varies from people to people) To me anything, that inspires people to do good is good... To me, be it Baba amte Amy carmichael Abdul satar edhi Benny cook Swami vivekananda William wilberford Sai Baba Ida schudder Etc.. are good.. If conversion is bad then converting people from nature worship into brahminical Hinduism is also bad.. do you know how many cultures have been lost dues to Sankritisation? Here's my tip TO STOP CONVERSION - let Hindus compete to do good - divert incomes from Thirumalai, haridwar, sabarimalai, puri entirely to poor people... - set orphanages, hospitals - embrace all without caste discrimination(are you ready?are Hindus ready?) or lynching - Don't kill people even when you disagree.. I believe if you do this, no one will convert to Christianity.. if this has been the case no one would have converted to Christianity in the first place..

This branch follows Pope ( who claims of divinity).Many of their teaching were against Bible. They were even against translating Bible to local language. 2. Protestant Christians- They are hence called because they opposed Pope. Rejected popes DIVINITY. Don't believe in saints. Don't believe in the holiness of any place. Don't believe in need of rituals. BELIEVES IN BIBLE ALONE!! In the initial stages lakhs of protestant Christians were killed by Roman Catholics...! This is the group that's most actively involved in propagation of Christianity in India. ​@@Bingojingo646 Thank you for your long but thoughtful post. I mentioned to someone else that all major belief groups had a group that has tried to oppress and kill people (including atheism). I have seen some of Sam Harris's videos and was not impressed when it came to discussing the history of atheism. When it comes to it he tried to use word games to avoid acknowledging that atheists have oppressed other people of different beliefs similar to how people of different beliefs have already oppressed others. For example it would be dishonest for a Catholic to claim there was never any Inquisition, just like it would be dishonest for an atheist to claim Communist Russia didn't try to force atheism on people including punishing people for having religious beliefs rather than atheism. This problem I saw with him is he basically seemed to put atheists in a group better than anyone else. When some puts his group better than any other group that makes it easier to look down on other groups. And it really isn't a good thing when someone engages in dishonesty in order to make his group seem better than other groups. I also appreciate how you tried to look at different religious groups within a religion and how they tried to reform that religion over time. I don't think the Pope is actually divine (or not much more divine than other people if you think people are divine-which can include the belief everyone has some divinity) but rather more important than other bishops. But there are many break away groups from Catholicism over very real concerns and a desire to reform what was done.

The film tells a beautiful and true story of sacrifice, love and devotion by Graham and Gladys Staines, pouring out their compassion and life skills to those who suffered leprosy India. The deeper story is that Graham and his two sons had no idea someone was plotting to kill them during a time when they had gone to help bind up the wounds of those with leprosy and to tell people of Christ's love and so they slept unsuspectingly in their car overnight...never imaging what awaited them. It is a tribute to Gladys and her daughter that they chose to forgive this act of horror and betrayal and to show the love of Christ to the man who caused the car to be burnt and to forgive the radical group who were prejudiced against the missionaries. It's a tragic story but the love of Christ and the faith of all the family shine through as they know their loved ones are in heaven now...Today Jan 22. 2024 is the 25th anniversary of the death of Graham and his two sons. We can only honor such saints and those left behind as their lives have been poured out for Christ...Their lives still bear fruit and many remember them, and carry on the work in India (Gladys and her daughter and the team in India)... 'to such belong the kingdom of God' Amen.
