Too bad you didn't choose to react to the Teatro Metropolitan version where she hands the drums to a very capable friend and comes out front. She was born to take stage front as well as play the drums. She's a firecracker.

Ale prefers singing backing vocal and has said several times she does not like to sing lead. She will if Dany needs a break. You can find fan-cam videos of that but their audio and video are not pro quality. As far as I know there are no pro-shot videos of her singing lead. Ale does sing a two-line solo in "Choke", and sings a a few bars on her own in "Qué Más Quieres", but I think that's it.

The Warning was called "malinchistas" by some critics, a term that implies betraying one’s culture. This was because they had been making music solely in English until "Narcisista." Pau wrote and sings this song as a direct response to those accusations. The tone is mocking and bold, with Pau pushing back against the idea that choosing to sing in English means abandoning their Mexican roots. She calls out the critics, saying, "Yeah, go ahead, talk about me-I’m not listening." It’s all about standing her ground and embracing who she is without caring what others think.

Good reaction. This is the first time Su-metal has channelled Snow White's step mother and Moametal has quoted Shakespeare's witches from MacBeth - it is not the first time BABYMETAL have strayed into Prog Metal, as they did with the opening instrumentals. The video was filmed at the PIA Arena Black and Clear Nights and if you look closely you might see that whenever it goes into split screen or uses mirror images they are taken from both nights (Black Night the costumes did not have the reflective iridescent layer they were wearing on Clear Night - and Black Night Momometal did not have her mic yet, Clear Night was her first as an official member and finally with her own headset mic). The visuals on the big screens behind them were from the official lyric video they released before the concerts as well and those visuals also beautifully help to illustrate the meaning of the song.

"Mirror Mirror" is probably my favorite song from The Other ONE album. I absolutely enjoy the prog metal mixed with metalcore, the hardcore breakdown and that very, very BABYMETAL chorus. Also very fan of the pre-chorus (where they quote Shakespeare's MacBeth) and the modulation they did there. According to Su-metal: "it talks about how other people can see you, but you can only see yourself in a mirror, and that may not be your true self - yet ultimately, you’re the only one that truly discerns what you really look like. So in the end, it’s like asking yourself who you really are."

Yep they write their own songs. Pau wrote "Black Holes" when she was like 13 or 14 and Dany wrote "When I'm Alone" when she was 15. All three of them are crazy talented.

Simple but beautiful melody and excellent lyrics. One of the best that Paulina has written, in my opinion.

From XXI Century Blood, released in 2017 and written by Pau at just 13, Black Holes captures the painful self-awareness of someone battling addiction and struggling to protect others from their own turmoil. The lyrics reflect the protagonist’s isolation and resignation, shown in lines like “don’t hold on to me” and “they’ll start hurting you too,” as they push someone away to shield them from the consequences of their pain. Rather than a longing for connection, the song carries a sense of inevitability and self-sacrifice, with the protagonist accepting their suffering as theirs alone to bear.

This song should have been done together with Breathe in the same video, it would have had more impact.

She wrote this when she was 13 about someone struggling with addiction.
