Hello. Allstate wouldn’t provide a rental and my car was never repaired. Lady had no license but the vehicle was insured by a man who showed up. Cops arrived and watched my dashcam video and saw that she came over on me. Advice (I’m not in NY). Thanks

My replacement DS2 is discharging a white fibrous material that ends up floating in the water in the humidifier tank. Contacted Philips and three months later they sent a second DS2 replacement. This second unit is doing the same thing. Could be the filters breaking down except they are brand new. Not a coincidence since it happened with two machines. I'm assuming that a certain amount of fibers are not settling in the water and are continuing into the airway. I have a feeling there will be more lawsuits once people realize this is happening to their DS2's. Who knows what the health ramifications will be?

This is ridiculous! The foam is simple as hell to remove and you can clean it out while you're in there making it safer than it was.

I waited over a year for my replacement of my Dreamstation and I received a very cheap looking device…I get this email this week about returning the old device which I will not do and had no clue that was something I had to do anyway. Especially when the device I had could cause cancer. So if we tell them that we’re not going to return it, are they going to bill us for the new CPAP machine that they sent to us and they claim is a replacement? I don’t believe for one minute that they’re going to clean the machine and make it available for another person.

Yeah, so today I received an email from Philips stating they they want my System One for a whopping$25. Or I can stay in the patient portal forever, because they can’t source the parts to fix it. I believe that they are trying to lose the evidence against them, CHEAPLY.

Well mine is serious I have two cases maybe 6 but I’m one person. So after coming home from the hospital I received a new machine and we no longer have the old one. But Phillips knows Inhad it and I have a receipt from the medical supply company with my serial number on it. Am I in trouble by not having the old one?

Screw fda and Phillips, I removed mine after getting out of the emergency room 4 months ago ,it's working great now ,no voc's/weird smell ,and lungs have/ARE recovering, it's no louder either, screw anybody who tells you to keep using it

I get screwed twice...once from Philips for trying to give me cancer and once from the VA for telling me to keep using my recalled machine because it's okay!..... Piss on both of them... I bought my own machine.

I know you are just the messenger, and I have nothing against you. I gave you alike. It just pisses me off that the FDA would put this out just like Philips. A day late and a dollar short. Love how they came out with that statement 3 MONTHS after the fact. Ridiculous. The only way you can introduce any of that cancer foam into the blower after removal if you're stupid enough to leave any behind. Most of us who are smart enough to take these things apart are also smart enough to make sure they are totally free of foam before putting them back together. There have been 0 impacts on the performance of my machine. I CAN'T afford another $1000 CPAP while I wait for a replacement so I really had no choice. Breathe cancer foam or live with a dangerous AHI level while sleeping. I highly doubt that Philips would be able to argue that because I don't have the cancer foam in my machine any longer that it didn't cause any issues. Luckily I only had mine for 5 months before the recall came out, and my foam was in no way degraded. So I'm pretty confident that I'm ok, but there was NO WAY I was going to sleep with that stuff one more night. Happy layering. I bought another machine, I left the Philips machine in its bag. If Philips fixes it, I'll have it as a backup.
