What's going on between Ardyn and Shiva? Didn't he not lead the empire to slaughter her and leave her body in the Ghovaras Rift? That's the same face you wore the day you - .... And here he says 'keep your hands to yourself this time'... Was there something deeper between Ardyn and Shiva? Or perhaps it's Ifrit's own memories inside him (after he daemonified him in Niflheim). It could also be a callback to Chapter 12 where she froze him solid with her touch I suppose.

Omg you guys are sooo close! I thought for sure this would be the last installment. Can't believe I've been watching you guys play this for almost 2 years! I estimate you've averaged about one and a half minutes of gameplay per day😅. And yes, that was the joke I was referring to way back then. Thanks for remembering. Yes that heartbreaking voice acting in the junkyard...Ashley Burch revealed in behind the scenes interview that she was recalling the death of her boyfriend by drug overdose. She and Hannah Telle recorded that scene together in the soundbooth and both were crying. Looking forward to the finale!

Never underestimate our ability to make only the slightest amount of incremental progress! Wow. I can't believe we played the game over that long of a time... Well it may be a record for the longest Life Is Strange playthrough of all time. We appreciate you and everyone else who stuck with us through the whole thing. Given all the challenges we've gone through behind the scenes, I'm happy we persevered and were able to complete it.
@tanya1973Ай бұрын
@Knight_And_Day Now that I know you've completed it I can refer back to the "rescue dummy" conversation from the pool scene. Remember when I said that some objects in the game are named deliberately....note that the cart Max pulls towards herself in the dark Room is called a trolley

I have a feeling I know which ending you've chosen. I'd be surprised if it was a difficult choice for you either :D It's fascinating, I've watched a couple of people play this, and it's always very easy to guess what they'll do for the final choice, even while they are still in chapter 1. But hey maybe you're the ones who'll surprise me. Really looking forward to that next video. I really like watching someone who took a bit longer to play the game during this dream sequence. It's a nice throwback to revisit so many of the past scenes and locations, but the impact of the scenes is vastly different when you've just seen them two weeks ago. I think many people dislike this part, but for me it's a nice look inside Max' mind, while also serving as a reminder and a sort of summary to the game. I agree that the game would work better if it was a bit longer than 5 days, however I don't understand why people are focussed so much on the romantic aspect of the game. Whether Chloe and Max have kissed once, and whether Max and Warren kissed once doesn't pull much weight for me. The game presents it very obviously in a way where Chloe is by far the most important person to Max and maybe vice-versa (we don't really get to see inside Chloes mind, but it seems that way), and if it happened over more than 5 days I find that kind of relationship realistic. In my opinion the game does a decent job at giving Chloe a job. In many scenes they get Chloe very unsubtly out of the way. She'll sit at the computer and look for something that isn't even important, while throwing jokes around, while Xax does whatever is currently important. But outside of the pool scene and the bottle scene at least Chloe always pretends to help.
@Knight_And_DayАй бұрын
This does seem like the type of game where the final choice would be easier to predict than most. The ending was such an extreme "all in" decision one way or the other. You've got a good point that the romantic relationship wouldn't necessarily have to be the primary factor in the decisions Max makes. The story is heavily based on how important Chloe is to Max. The strange part is that the premise of Chloe being the most important person in Max's life does not work with the background element that Chloe is also the person Max completely ignored for five years. The writers wanted to force that background so Max wouldn't recognize Chloe in the bathroom. But it's just such a hard sell. Are there people you would sacrifice everything for? Maybe. Would you also have zero interaction with these people you care for that deeply about for five years? It's also possible for someone who you once loved to come back into your life and become one of the most important people to you again. But hopefully it would take you more than five days to build that level of devotion. I agree they do a decent job of making Chloe look like she's trying to help. I'd just prefer it if for this game (and for most games) they let the other characters ACTUALLY help. It's even more strange in larger scale games like Final Fantasy XVI. Clive leads a resistance movement with many people under his command, but somehow it falls on him to run every little errand. In Life is Strange, Max could find four bottles, and then Chloe always finds whichever one you left for last. Easy fix to make the game more realistic and make the characters seem less idiotic. But for some reason the developers think that players want their character to do everything. Then again maybe that is what most people prefer, and I'm in the minority. Maybe most people want to find all the bottles and have Chloe sit in a corner doing nothing. Who knows.
@imoartel4134Ай бұрын
I think a perfect example of how it can work is the scene where Max and Chloe break into the principals office. Of course first Max does everything in getting the door open, but once inside the room its a good split of jobs. Max looks through the room, while Chloe looks through the computer. I'd even say that everything we can find in that room isn't very important, while the stuff on the computer gives us the first hint at the dark room. It's great because the player gets to explore everything, Chloe doesn't get in the way, but Chloe still contributes in a meaningful way and to me that makes all the difference compared to almost all other scenes. Of course Coop missions with NPCs are a step further, but I don't even think that's necessary for this type of game. For example, if the junkyard had been a mess and Chloe had actually started tidying up, making a place for us to shoot the bottles, instead of just sitting around, doing nothing, waiting for us to collect the bottles, I already think I'd like the scene a lot better. I feel like if Chloe helped me find the bottles, I might miss a lot of stuff, because I might not explore as thoroughly. Can't speak for everyone but I certainly don't want to feel like everyone in these games is incompetent and I'm the only one thinking and doing stuff.
