Not sure if you guys play games like GTA, but is it possible for you guys to play GTA 4 or 5 after this series?

Right now we don't have any plans to play GTA 4 or GTA 5. We're still at a point where it's tough to find the time to record. Shorter games like Life is Strange take a while for us to finish at the moment, so we can't commit to longer games for now. We either need to have more free time or to get enough subs to quit our day jobs. Maybe one day...

Ever since you uploaded an Episode from christmas, ca. half a year later, I've been wondering how far ahead you are? Have you already finished the game? Anyways I wanted to ask whether there are any plans to play the other entries in the life is strange series on this channel if time allows for it? I can never really tell how much you've been enjoying this game, there's a lot of critiquing going on, but I have a feeling nitpicking is just your style too.

yeah they just love to talk about everything thats happening and it generally includes nitpicking, but I think, atleast from my experience of them before that they generally are enjoying it still.

Actually we just finished the game about a week ago. We did have a lot of fun playing through the game. The characters and dialogue were especially well done, but we cover our opinions more thoroughly in the final episode. As Arthas said, we talk about everything - the good and the bad. Calling out plot holes is definitely something we do in our playthroughs. If you consider that nitpicking, then nitpicking is part of our style. At the moment we're not planning on playing other Life is Strange games, although after seeing the ending of this game I'm curious about Double Exposure. Right now we just don't have the time. But if things change and we are able to start recording more often we may play other games in the series at some point. I've heard mixed opinions on Life is Strange 2 and True Colors. Are the other games good? Which, if any, would you recommend?

I enjoy all entries in the series - though I don't know the captain spirit (mini-)game. With all these games I often found the main characters frustrating. They all have obvious better things to be doing and it's not always easy to understand why they are doing what they are doing. This was especially tough in the second game. It's a shame. The second game feels like it's almost great, but then it has these big weaknesses. I can hardly relate to the main characters (though seeing someone very different from myself is a learning opportunity so it wasn't as bad as it sounds) and there is a general issue with characters in that game that I cant get into without spoiling. When I played the first game I found the game interesting, but it sometimes forgot to be fun too. Before the Storm and True colors have less engaging stories, but I find them a lot of fun. I also find that each entry in the series positively built on the previous games gameplay. In this first game I often got the same clue a dozen times, which made exploring very repetitive, that's much less the case in any of the other games. All the games offer a couple of great memorable scenes, and interesting decisions. To me before the storm was the weakest in that regard. Before the Storm is often only considered half a game, and it's true that it's smaller, but in that timeframe I got as much out of it as the other games. Life is Strange 2 is the most similar to the first game, it was developed by the same people (afaik) and while none of the games have great endings, I like a lot of what Life is Strange 2 does, especially compared to Before the Storm and True Colors. For both those games I find the endings the weakest part of the game. So to sum it up, I think all the games are worthwhile, but if you'd only choose one I'd probably go with True Colors. Half the game feels like filler, but filler that's done in a way where it's still fun, you still get tidbits of cool sidestories that you may or may not care about and the dialogue in that game feels really natural. And then the other 50% are these huge major thematic scenes, almost all of those are done well imo. One of the main characters has an earlier appearance in Before the Storm. True colors also has a DLC, but I consider it weak, wouldn't recommend that. Before the Storm would also be a good choice, if you're not sure and want a smaller story, especially since it's the next entry, so you could play that and afterwards decide whether to go for the other games as well. And perhaps Double Exposure is going to be the best game in the series ;) Right now I'm less optimistic and more doubtful about that game. I would advice you to barely look up anything on those games, at least for Life is Strange 2 and even more True Colors I know that there are major spoilers in the trailers or even the steam description.
