Elliot Anderson is going to be an England player, mark my words. He’s everything we wanted Gibbs white to be. Simple but very effective.
@thefootballpunnedit11 күн бұрын
Elliot Anderson has been player of the season for me so far. I know Milenkovic is a mountain and now we have elite cb pairing… but Anderson is in the top percentiles for basically everything he does. He’s so versatile its a joke. If he adds goals to his game and continues like this hes an 80 mill player.

Fans are allowed to say things they think about Yates whether good or bad. I don’t know why it makes so many people uptight yet when it’s a player they want to criticise, that’s fine. It’s a game of opinions. Glad you enjoy the pod & shame didn’t enjoy this one.

I think we’d be mad to let Williams go. He’s nowhere near his prime and is already starting on a semi regular basis. In two years time he could be one hell of a player, considering he’s already more than competitive. People talk about him like he’s a 50m flop, the lad cost less than 20m and is in his early twenties, that’s peanuts at this level. Not to mention that if our aim is to truly reach Europe in the next few seasons then we’ll need two players in every position. Williams can comfortably be one of two left backs and that’s without further improvement. It’s like people expect Roberto Carlos reborn for 18m.

Great to see the Midlands 2 biggest clubs doing well this season & pissing off the "Rich 6" cartel that have had too much time with having everything go their way over recent years & are mopping up all the trophy's every season apart from the odd exception which is very rare & the premier league has been far too predictable/boring, especially since the protection regulations were introduced ie- The farce rules FFP/PSR that have made it very hard for others to compete in a fair way & many clubs like ours that were mismanaged for years have been screwed big time cos of circumstances out of the control of us fans which sucks alot,but considering the restraints put on us we're doing great, good luck!!!..... up the fuck'in Villa!!!! 😁⚽✌️

With 4 weeks to go till everyone has played everyone, I think the best way to assess where we are at is to see how hard our next 4 fixtures are compared to the 7 teams right around us: If you weight difficulty of fixtures simply by how many points the opponents have so far, then we have the 4th easiest final run of those 8 teams. We are up against teams that (so far) have 82 points. Newcastle have the easiest run (up against 67 points) and will be above us by NYE. 100%. But only Bournemouth (73) and Brighton (79) also have “easier” runs than us. Tottenham (94), Fulham (95), Villa (96) and especially Brentford (109) have more “difficult” runs. Partly because 2 of them have to play the high-flying force of Nottingham Forest. I’m sure there are better ways to weight the difficulty of fixtures. If anyone knows please LMK :) COYR!!

Man City are still a dangerous team, but their issues are not solely down to the absence of Rodri, Pep has acknowledged they have problems but some are easier to fix than others. The last time Man City had this poor run was when Stuart Pearce was the Manager

Adam, you kill me every time you say ‘take the mantelpiece’ instead of ‘take the mantle’. Taking the mantle means to take on the authority or ownership of something and originates from someone wearing a mantle (sleeveless cloak) that signified their authority. A mantelpiece is the surround of a fireplace, so whenever you say that such and such a person or team has ‘taken the mantelpiece’, you’re saying that they’ve taken the surround of a fireplace away. 😂
