It sounds pessimistic but I’ll be fine with staying up and not much else. The longer we stay the longer we’re likely to stay and with the ambition of the owner I’m confident we’ll slowly claw our way up the table in the coming years… but we’re not entitled to be midtable after 2 years in the league when we entered with a ripped apart side that were not ready. I still think we could turn a few heads at times but I’ll be fine with 16th as long as we’re not in and out of the bottom 3 giving me heart attacks.

Someone on TalkSport this morning said Forest are in genuine danger of Relegation this season. Just opinions at this stage of the season, but that was a bit much. Bookies have the Promoted clubs as favs to go down, alongside Wolves and Bournemouth apparently. Forest & Everton next favs. I'm not as optimistic as some - unless we get another striker in (now on in January) I can see a 15th Place finish. I just don't see this Top Half nonsense. Even 12th seems too high to me. Hope I'm wrong.

As far as I’m concerned top 8 would be miraculous but any position below that is up for grabs. There are 7 or 8 sides that are just too far ahead of us and three that should be below us and all of those positions from 9th to 17th are there for the taking.
