Those early 69-70. Early seventies period is the sweet spot for so much good heavy rock. I'm a fan of " Parish Hall", As played it on KZbin/ Spotify. "Alamo "and " Jericho " are on my radar, but never seen that " St Steven "looks awesome mate.I appreciate the mention and cool to hear from Cosmic Brian. Dude your record collection is absolutely amazing! Some I have, others im always looking for and you also showed some stuff In not familiar with. I have t listened to that St Steven or that Jamul in awhile I’m gonna have to bust those out for a listen. I do have that Growl LP and it used to be cheap heat I love the cover with the bands head on a platter LoL! I’ve been looking for Thunder & Roses forever! That Morloc has also eluded me! That Cain LP has such a gruesome cover Yuck! Great album tho! Ones I’m gonna check out are Andrew-Woops, Connextion & Lost Nation-Paradise Lost! I remember being blown away watching fantastic planet in highschool. My facorites movies at the time were heavy metal and the fantastic planet. I just picked up the vampires of dartmoor and a couple of the fugs albums and some paul chain

I may have read that same article about Diamanda Galas (Terrorizer, I think), and that is also the album I picked up. It was way too out there for me at the time and I got rid of it. I should give her another shot. I just listened to Run After To (the Shadow Kingdom reissue with the demo)...still deciding on it, haha. I preferred the demo to the EP. Great fun as always! I think you are spot on with the Terrorizer article mate! Not something I listen to on a regular basis but I need her madness to clear my head sometimes, knowa I mean? There is a darkness and intent in some of what she does that genuinely delivers. The Clive Barker bit I read from her book is on the money for me. You heard Saint Of The Pit ? If not give Self - Tormentor from the record a blast mate, itll make all your King Diamond records warp with shame haha! R.A.T is a grower mate. Another great varied update here brother. That Mourn album is a classic. I knew will and Caroline the vocalist pretty well and saw them loads back in the day London firm. I've heard Diamanda Galas' 'The Singer'. I think it's still a pretty challenging listen to people who are not familiar with more avant-garde music. Spiritus Mortis are a brilliant doom metal band.

Gran never spoke much about the trouble in the city; she hinted at it, but I was able to watch the news with her in the early 80s as a kid, and she made 'mild comments' during it. The imagination filled in the rest - she did speak fondly of childhood, too. I hope you have a great time in the area; I look forward to the following video.
