Dammit, I started writing a comment a while back but never posted it... Anyway very cool stuff! Really like all of these I've heard (Poobah, Andromeda, Power of Zeus, Granicus, Steel Mill, King Crimson, SBB, Bull Angus, Damnation of Adam Blessing & Kinks), will definitely need to check out the rest. Seems like we have pretty similar taste, for the past 7 or 8 years I've mostly bounced back and forth between metal and '70s rock. Lots of other stuff I enjoy of course but those are my 2 main loves. Been on a mostly metal kick for a while now but can feel myself sliding back over to the '70s (I always listen to a mix anyway). Pretty cool how there is always more great stuff to discover in the underground from the mid-'60s until now. Also dig the thumbnail, I just bought a Jodorowsky DVD box set recently. Only watched El Topo so far, The Holy Mountain will be going in the player soon! Cheers 🤘🤘

Wow! Some really killer albums here! Majic Ship! Poobah! Man that Fat album has continued to elude me. Eden’s Children is super groovy too! That Pulse LP is slammin’! Love anything John DuCann has played on including Andromeda! That Aorta LP is one of the first psych albums I ever owned. Great one! The Mighty Zeus! So good! Glass Prism is another one you can still find for cheap. That Granicus is a banger! Cool prog/psych of Gong! Steel Mill are brilliant! Man what a great bunch of albums! This stuff is right up my alley! ✌️👽PS your thumbnails are epic!

Always an education watching your videos mate. My father’s love for alternative music was a big influence on me when I was a child … & ‘King Crimson’ was a band he played a lot… so I have a lot of love for a few of their albums. Always good to see you sir🤘🏻

Totally speaking my language bro. Totally onboard with Buddy Miles I was playing the " Booger Bear " album yesterday. Love his version of " Down By The River ". " Power Of Zeus " - great album. You probably know already but Dillon on the " Noble Records " channel , released a sequel to that album on his webstore. I did not get it but i bought the " Horse " guerssen re-issue very good!. Poobah is a banger indeed, and have heard of Majic Ship.Very envious of your charity shops all mine have Mantovani and such. Thanks so much for the " Gong " heads up I have been enjoying it big-time. Awesome video Jason.🤘 And while I'm commenting is the Marmite/Peanut butter spread going to be discontinued where you are?. We do not have it!. Criminal!!!.

Hi Keith! The marmite/peanut butter munch of the gods is still available here chum haha! I'll defo check out that new Power of Zeus record, not aware of it. Nice one. Cool pick up on the Horse album matey, great record that! Buddy Miles, what a legend with some fantastic music to his name. Man I got lucky on those charity shop finds, that never usually happens anymore. Cheers to ya Keith, speak again soon rocker. Keep the 70s rock flag flying!

Love hearing you talk about these old obscurities! Even in the genres I think I am knowledgeable about I keep stumbling on great stuff no one talks about. It's a good problem to have. Cheers Jason!

Yeah mate, the search for good sounds and tunes hasnt waned for me either after all these years. I keep meaning to make more vids and start going deeper into my collection to show stuff but it never seems to happen haha! As you say, there is always more great stuff out there, love it. Cheers Scott!

Great to see you bud, again a lot of these are new to me, but I trust your judgement on this type of music more than anyone else, I will check some out as I do like some prog, if you describe something as a Riffy Cracker that’s good enough for me. Take care Jason hopefully catch up with you sometime.

Hi Gordon! Class to hear from you rocker. Mate if that Steel Mill - Green Eyed God album isnt one youve heard, I think you would dig some of it my man. I was looking forward to catching up with you at that Bulldozer gig, bummed about that...but hopefully at some point!!! Thank you for giving the time to listen to me bumble on bro! Many cheers G!

Great charity finds! Vinyl I don't usually bother looking at as they've always been picked through and you have to be really lucky to find anything decent. Johburgrock? That sounds like something I'd like and Trees Speak I'm going to look to see if I can grab a cd copy if there is one! I'm going to grab a copy of that King Crimson now as I've never heard it before. Time to get in my teapot 🧙🏻♂️🫖 have a great weekend mate 🍻
@blackleathereyes36732 ай бұрын
Hi Simon, was lucky to pick up a few I really liked in the charity shop mate, picked up a cupla duds too. Jo'burg Hawk is the name mucker, the album I have is a European release it has stuff on it from a few records they put out under the name of Hawk. The Trees Speak record is cool, picked it up because the art reminded me of a Klaus Schulze album. Have a cuppa tea, have another one, have a cuppa tea BOOM BOOM ! Hope ya have a belter weekend mate, cheers!

@@blackleathereyes3673 Thanks! I’m checking out all the ones you show that I don’t know. I forgot about Bull Angus. I think the first album is more to my preference than the second. A couple of others sound like something I’d want too, but they seem difficult to locate on CD.
