Yes, but as properties have naturally gone on the market, through whatever circumstance of sale, the locals cannot afford to buy because of the sharp rise in prices.

Back in my day flambards was soooo good. We had the spave mission ride with a civer that came over, superbob, the red dragon rollercoaster before the hornet, the exploratorium, secret garden dancing fountains, gus honeybun, the traveling wagons, a massive wavey slide, quite sure it was a water boat thing, then a water play area where skyforce is now. And lets not forget the parrot show :)

At Morwellham Quay you get to ride a train through old mines I have been there very fun I do recommend and they have a little shop with souvineres and ice cream and chocolate

We used to get quite violent thunderstorms in Cornwall in the 60s and 70s when we had hot summers. We don’t get hot summers now so no storms. I’m glad Berrymans have renewed their sign. Half the name was missing for years. I haven’t had a Berrymans pasty for 40 years. I found them a bit bland, but very wholesome and nice pastry. Bray’s & Ks are always good.
