Manzano looks like a guy who just showed up, on the day, and asked "Can I run, too? Please, please?" After watching this, I see that Manzano ran a personal best. Well done! Yet, it's 3 seconds slower than David. That took me by surprise, too. I wasn't following Diamond League Athletics much in 2010, if at all. My favourite era was the Coe/Ovett where they swapped World Records in both the 800 and 1,500 metres every other week, at times. It would be magical if they could have competed against David. I believe more World Records would have fallen. The Olympic Finals in the 800 would've been insane.
