We both have an outdoor channel. Mine is called “The One Canoe” and Brad’s is called “Explore The Backcountry”. I also have a tech channel where I review photo/video/audio gear, called “Explore Video”. … so between the two of us, 3 channels.

My old Honda Accord has been down many a snowmobile / atv / forest access road. Its amazing what a boring normal car will handle. IF YOU GO SLOW!! Except the one time i left Dividing Lake PP Access after 2 days major rain thunderstorms. 2ft section of Road was washed out. Spent 1 hour building a bridge of rocks and stones.

During Covid started watching canoe videos and came across your stuff and really enjoyed it. I pulled an old canoe from the side of the house not used for a decade and began canoeing every weekend. It inspired me to get into better health so I could go farther and spend time with kids who were bored during Covid. It reminded me of being a kid again and I continue to paddle small ponds for day trips. It is really important we continue to do this. Thanks for showing everyone how this works, but also the feelings of being there. I had never heard of a portage and learned how to carry a canoe and started doing yearly ADK trips to my favorite saranac lake. Picked up a Kevlar canoe and now it’s a wonderful experience down the trail. Have only done about 500m or so max but working up to longer ones. Keep it up and good to see your dad continue to do it.

Thanks for checking out our video. Sounds like you have really embraced the canoeing lifestyle. I have paddled parts of the Adirondacks, and believe me, they are as beautiful and rugged as anywhere else I have paddled.

I just watched a video all the way through and thank you so much for telling me what the items are on the screen. I still can’t get a new capture from my GoPro. It’s only showing me stuff that I’ve seen or a blank screen. I’m using a HD DMI mini to my GoPro into the unit and then I’m using the phone iPhone to my iPhone to the outon the unit and I can’t get a picture capture from my camera anymore and I tried to delete the app and redo the app and it’s still staying on my same stuff that I recorded in my room for just a minute

Can you do a video with a GoPro hook up please? I’m struggling. I have finally got a video on my iPhone screen, but then I tried to do it again and it’s keeping the old videos on the screen instead of putting a new capture from my GoPro, there’s nowhere to look at what the settings mean on the screen of your phone from the app.

Same problem as Lamax series W and NiceBoy cameras because they use the same box. At 6:27 a crack can be seen on the door to the left of the opening button. Eventually, a piece of the door breaks off and the camera is no longer waterproof. It is a bad product.

Forget about those fuel cubes, they almost never boil water outside of a completely windless laboratory environment. Just get yourself a Trangia spirit burner and your water will boil in 4-7 minutes, depending on the starting temperature.

@@TheOneCanoe Only charged the Battery's 1 hour ago so I will give it a try out tomorrow,. Found that the buttons are a bit stiff but I put that down to it being waterproof. I have no intention at all of using it underwater but if it just keeps the rain out I will be happy. This camera is on Amazon UK for £130 so I think my £40 was money well spent.

The flame just burns out by itself, as it does not burn for a very long time. The fire blocks do not last long enough to reuse.

This is a great tent esp. for the price. Noticed you did NOT stake out the rain fly taut all around. Take the time to do this. I did & went through a night- thankfully dry, in 35 to 40 mph fall winds ALL night long, no kidding, with no adverse effects to me or the tent. But it was setup truly taut- take an extra 10 mins to even reposition a couple stakes for best results.
